DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY
The hope of mankind - Divine Mercy!
The worst sin that
man may have ever committed is but a grain of sand when compared to the
Oceans of His Mercy!
The more we need
His Mercy the more He wants to grant it to us.
Our Lord, speaking to Sister Faustina Kowalska in 1938, asked that the
Feast of Divine Mercy be instituted on the first Sunday after Easter
Sunday. We read in her diary (Nos. 299-300):
"...I
desire that the first Sunday after Easter be the Feast of Mercy. Ask of
my faithful servant (Faustina's Confessor) that, on this day, he tell
the whole world of My great mercy; that whoever approaches the Fount of
Life on this day will be granted complete remission of sins and
punishment. +Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to
My Mercy."
