News Update regarding US Official Earthquake Reporting

We wish to remind our readers that the US Earthquake reporting authorities appear to continue to withhold much seismic information from the general public.

Whereas some time back anyone could view and monitor the 24 hr (updated every 30 minutes) seismic activity throughout the entire world through this page, said page continues "being improved" for the last two months or so.

As we also reported some time ago, the official page reporting worldwide earthquakes of over 2.5 in the Richter scale, is only reporting a fraction of the daily worldwide earthquakes, as compared with the reports of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.

The only key areas where we may still see the updated seismograph readings are from the Yellowstone Area as well as from the New Madrid area.

The New Madrid area suffered massive earthquakes in the 19th century and it is a very unstable area that merits monitoring.

Navy Yard gunman left note about radio waves. (1)

In the final months of his life, Aaron Alexis complained of hearing voices talking to him through a wall and of microwave vibrations that he said entered his body and prevented him from sleeping. His delusional belief that he was being bombarded by extremely low-frequency radio waves escalated to the point that, before embarking on a murderous rampage that killed 12 people at the Washington Navy Yard, he left behind this note:

"Ultra-low frequency attack is what I've been subject to for the last 3 months, and to be perfectly honest that is what has driven me to this," read an electronic document FBI agents recovered after the shooting.

The FBI revealed that note from Alexis on Wednesday, along with peculiar notations on the shotgun he used, as evidence of a man in the throes of profound paranoia and delusions. Investigators have found no evidence that the September 16 shooting was inspired by a workplace conflict, saying he picked his victims at random and appears to have been driven by an unchecked mental illness.

The attack, which ended with Alexis shot dead by a police officer, came one month after he complained to police in Rhode Island that people were talking to him through the walls and ceilings of his hotel room and sending microwave vibrations into his body to deprive him of sleep. His shotgun, which he purchased two days before the shooting from a gun shop in Virginia, was etched with messages including "My ELF Weapon!" - an apparent reference to extremely low-frequency waves - and "End to The Torment!"

The ELF frequency range has historically been used for submarine communications, but some conspiracy theorists believe it allows for government monitoring and mind control of citizens, said Valerie Parlave, assistant director in charge of the FBI's Washington field office.

Hundreds of U.S. security clearance records falsified, federal cases show. (1)

Federal prosecutors have documented at least 350 instances of faulty background investigations done by private contractors and special agents for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in recent years, illustrating what some lawmakers call systemic weaknesses in the granting of federal security clearances.

Reuters calculated the total by reviewing court documents and press releases from prosecutors for 21 cases resulting in convictions that involved the making of false statements from December 2004 to March 2012.

These are the cases government officials have cited to assert that action is taken against investigators who falsely claim to have reviewed records or done interviews for background checks submitted to OPM. Not all the cases identified a specific number of fabrications.

The 350 falsified reports represent only a small percentage of the number of background investigations conducted each year, either by OPM's own investigators or a handful of private contractors it uses for most of the work.

The Government Accountability Office testified to a congressional committee in June that OPM received over $1 billion to conduct more than 2 million background investigations for government employees in fiscal 2011.

But the details of the cases show how cracks in the system may allow employees to obtain clearances without proper vetting.

In one case, a private contractor investigator, who pleaded guilty to making a false statement, reported interviewing a person who had died more than a decade earlier. Another investigator was found guilty of making false statements in checks for applicants seeking "top secret" clearances for jobs in the Air Force, Army, Navy and U.S. Treasury.

miguel de Portugal comments:
As we have been saying over and over again, the only security is God and, if nothing horrific (much more than the 9-11 and Oklahoma Federal building) has yet happened, it is because God has not allowed it.

Now there is "hard copy" proof for all to see.

Argentine priest jailed for sexually abusing teenager.

An Argentine court has sent a Roman Catholic priest to prison immediately to serve a 15-year sentence for sexually abusing a teenage boy. Julio César Grassi was convicted four years ago for abuse at his “Happy Children Foundation”.

Last week the Supreme Court upheld the jail term after the 57-year-old was found to have breached his house arrest conditions. He strongly denies the abuse.

“The experts said clearly that I do not have any of the features of a paedophile. No trace of paedophilia,” he told the court. “The prosecution lawyer is lying.”

Allegations against Reverend Grassi surfaced more than ten years ago. Later he continued to live opposite the Foundation despite accusations that he had abused several children there.

Charges concerning all but one boy were dismissed for lack of evidence. Outside the court angry supporters of the priest lashed out at the press after the sentence was confirmed.

miguel de Portugal comments: (sarcasm on) We are sure that Bergoglio never heard of him. (sarcasm off)

We wonder who organized the angry supporters of the priest? Those whom he supplied with "Toy Boys" just as it happened for years-on-end at the Casa Pia in Portugal?

Benedict emerges and defends his abuse record. (1)

Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI has emerged from his self-imposed silence inside the Vatican walls to publish a lengthy letter to one of Italy's most well-known atheists - Odifreddi. In it, he denies having covered up for sexually abusive priests and discusses everything from evolution to the figure of Jesus Christ.

Excerpts of the letter were published Tuesday by La Repubblica, the same newspaper which just two weeks ago published a similar letter from Pope Francis to its own atheist publisher.

The letters indicate that the two men in white - who live across the Vatican gardens from one another - are pursuing an active campaign to engage non-believers. It's a melding of papacies past and present that has no precedent and signals that the popes - while very different in style, personality and priorities - are of the same mind on many issues and might even be collaborating on them.

Odifreddi, for his part, wrote in an accompanying piece Tuesday that he was stunned to have received the letter, though he said he wrote the book precisely in hopes Benedict might read it. He said he sought, and obtained, Benedict's permission to publish the letter.

He said he planned to re-issue his book with Benedict's letter included: "an unprecedented dialogue between a theologian pope and an atheist mathematician, divided in most everything but drawn together by at least one objective: the search for Truth."

miguel de Portugal quotes Jesus Christ: [12] And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled: and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. [13] But woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men, for you yourselves do not enter in; and those that are going in, you suffer not to enter. .... [15] Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; because you go round about the sea and the land to make one proselyte; and when he is made, you make him the child of hell twofold more than yourselves. Comments on Certain News Reports from Mr. KF @ Ireland

1) Regarding  'Dynamo' (1) magician on Facebook - There are some interesting commentators who think that he might be Jesus.

One woman claims that her '10 year old son thinks he is Jesus'. His increasing popularity with celebrities and magic tricks seem to be fooling millions. Meanwhile, Bergolio's stunning, Oscar winning acting performances have most Catholics equally awed by his affable niceness which in reality is nothing more than a smiley distracting display of a puppet on a string.

Two other things I have found out about 'Dynamo' revealing his messiah's complex.

A) On You Tube you might be interested in a levitation stunt that he carried out at the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Brazil in 2012. He levitates in front of the statue with his arms out as if in a crucifixion mode. [See "Dynamo flies next to Jesus" on You Tube]

B) He allegedly produced fish from a bucket and some are calling it a miracle. This 'miracle' which of course is simply a trick, took place in Africa. [See "Dynamo bucket of fish" on You Tube].

So this Dynamo is busy travelling all over the world, amazing everyone, everywhere he goes, with his magic. He  also makes sure that he is regularly photographed with the famous and the popular celebrities.

He is everybody's friend (with his hypnotic, piercing gaze). You cannot get any more symbolic than the 'miracle of the fish' and 'walking on water' stunts!

Those who really follow Jesus will discern such fakery. The true Faithful should not be frightened by his levitation: it is either a carefully stage managed stunt (for which there is a logical explanation) or 'demons in action' (for which there is a supernatural explanation, perfectly revealed by the Holy Spirit - a Power with which no demons can defeat). It is difficult to look at this Dynamo as the eyes are the light of the soul and all I can discern in him is the satanic 'angel of light' with the hypnotic eyes of a deceiver.

2) Regarding Step Number 1 of the General Sequence of Events - You may note that the last president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev as far back as 2010 said that 'a strike on Iran can lead to Nuclear war' (2). This position can logically be extended to include Syria.

Also, according to the Yale Journal of International Affairs ('Who authorized preparations for war with China? by Amitai Etzioni, article of June 12, 2013):  "The Pentagon has concluded that the time has come for a war with China."

3) I am wondering if the man you mentioned as Chris who tragically passed away recently, is in any way connected with a man I very happily discussed matters with: he was using the moniker on his You Tube account of  '[edited out]' aka '[edited out]', well before I ever knew your site existed.

God's blessings to you in this time of manufactured false peace!

miguel de Portugal comments: Well, it seems that Chris put to good use the information he learned from our pages. We wish more people would do so. He never told us that he was doing that and that is just fine. It seems that he never claimed authorship of the ideas and concepts he published, therefore, his efforts were like an extension of our Domain.

We thank you for sharing with us your observations and references regarding recent news events.

Catholics cheer pope's remarks on gays, abortion. (1a) (1b)

Catholics around the globe are expressing mixed but mostly positive reactions to Pope Francis' recent remarks that the church has become too focused on "small-minded rules" on hot-button issues like homosexuality and abortion.

At churches over the weekend, the faithful spoke about how they believed Francis' comments would impact the Catholic Church.

In the U.S., 26-year-old Evelyn Martinez, of Boston, says she agrees with Francis that compassion should be one of the church's main priorities. She says someone's sexuality shouldn't keep them away from a religion.

In the Philippines, Manila businesswoman Ching Domasian says she believes the church needs to keep up the fight against abortion and homosexuality, but she appreciates the pope's outreach.

Seventy-four-year-old Jose Baltazar, of Manila, says the pope has set his priorities mindful of stark realities.

miguel de Portugal comments: Of course we must be compassionate!

Of course we must nourish with the Eucharist the souls of those who are not living in accordance to the Divine Law and wish to improve their lives. How else could they better heal their souls than with the Bread of Life.

We have amply illustrated that on our doument about homosexuality (2) and our document where we show that child sexual abuse is worse than abortion (3).

The problem is that the way Bergoglio expressed whatever he was trying to say in a manner which - we know! - will be taken as tacit approval of behavior than may cause much harm to a soul. Of course, who else but satan and his agents would not want that?

For Obama, diplomatic openings on three fronts. (1)

President Barack Obama arrives at the United Nations on Monday with diplomatic openings, the result of help from unexpected partners, on three fronts: Iran, Syria, and elusive peace between Israel and the Palestinians.

Obama's advisers cast the sudden signs of progress as an outgrowth of the president's long-standing preference for resolving disputes through diplomacy and, in the case of Iran and Syria, with pressure built up through economic sanctions and the threat of military action.

US and Iran eye diplomatic defrosting at UN. (1)

President Barack Obama and Iran's new president may meet briefly next week for the first time, marking a symbolic but significant step toward easing their countries' tense relationship. An exchange of letters between the leaders already has raised expectations for a revival of stalled nuclear talks, though Iran is still likely to seek an easing of international sanctions in exchange for significant progress.

In small steps and encouraging statements, Iran's leaders appear to be opening a door more widely to detente in their nuclear dispute with the U.S. Cautiously optimistic yet still skeptical, Washington is weighing whether Iranian President Hasan Rouhani's recent overtures actually represent new policies or just new packaging.

"Negotiations with the Iranians is always difficult," President Barack Obama said in a recent interview with ABC News. "I think this new president is not going to suddenly make it easy. But, you know, my view is that if you have both a credible threat of force, combined with a rigorous diplomatic effort, that, in fact, you can strike a deal."

miguel de Portugal comments: Anyone who keeps up with the news, even in a very sporadic manner, knows that the true ruler of Iran is Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The presidents of Iran cannot take a step - much less associated with national security - without Khamenei's blessing.

As everyone should also know, Iran has a new president but the Supreme Leaders has not changed. Therefore, the intrinsic policies of Iran regarding their nuclear aspirations have not changed.

Logically  - there is really no defrosting, just public relations gestures to gain more time. This is how stupid the world masters think that the world citizens are.

NASA's Deep Space Comet Hunter Mission Comes to an End. (1)

After almost 9 years in space that included an unprecedented July 4th impact and subsequent flyby of a comet, an additional comet flyby, and the return of approximately 500,000 images of celestial objects, NASA's Deep Impact mission has ended.

The project team at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, Calif., has reluctantly pronounced the mission at an end after being unable to communicate with the spacecraft for over a month. The last communication with the probe was Aug. 8. Deep Impact was history's most traveled comet research mission, going about 4.7 billion miles (7.58 billion kilometers).

"Deep Impact has been a fantastic, long-lasting spacecraft that has produced far more data than we had planned," said Mike A'Hearn, the Deep Impact principal investigator at the University of Maryland in College Park. "It has revolutionized our understanding of comets and their activity."

Deep Impact successfully completed its original bold mission of six months in 2005 to investigate both the surface and interior composition of a comet, and a subsequent extended mission of another comet flyby and observations of planets around other stars that lasted from July 2007 to December 2010. Since then, the spacecraft has been continually used as a space-borne planetary observatory to capture images and other scientific data on several targets of opportunity with its telescopes and instrumentation.

miguel de Portugal comments: Not; it is not that NASA "knows something" that is causing the end of the project. The move's purpose is only symbolic and allowed/caused by God.

Pope Francis: Church Cannot Be 'Obsessed' With Gays, Abortion Ban. (1)

Pope Francis warned that the Catholic Church's moral structure might "fall like a house of cards" if it doesn't balance its divisive rules about abortion, gays and contraception with the greater need to make the church truly a merciful, welcoming abode for all.

Six months into his papacy, Francis set out his vision for the church and his priorities as pope in a remarkably lengthy and self-critical interview with La Civilta Cattolica, an Italian Jesuit magazine. It was published simultaneously Thursday in Jesuit journals in 16 countries, including America magazine in the U.S.

"A person once asked me, in a provocative manner, if I approved of homosexuality. I replied with another question: 'Tell me: when God looks at a gay person, does he endorse the existence of this person with love, or reject and condemn this person?'" - Pope Francis

and

Pope Francis Comes Out of the Closet: 'I Have Never Been a Right-Winger' (2)

And in saying "I have never been a right-winger" in the same interview in which he's criticizing the church for being too "obsessed" with gay marriage and abortion, Francis is hitting at those Catholic leaders who use gay rights and abortion to wield political power, putting them on notice. Again, his comments don't change the church's doctrine, but they do a lot to change its focus. That can only be seen as a huge shift.

miguel de Portugal comments: Yet, he never ceases to praise Ratzinger!

Berogoglio states: "Church's moral structure might "fall like a house of cards"?" What moral structure? The Moral Structure of Catholicism will never fall for is built on the Rock of Christ but the Administration? Babylon incarnate? One hundred years after the Constantine's purchase they could not even spell the word "moral" any longer - let alone exemplify it!

His statements about abortion and homosexuality do not convey consolation and hope to those in need, they convey unconditional approval of the behavior associated with both conditions.

The only obsession that we see is in Bergoglio's "look at me, world, I am Mr. Humble" non stop behavior. I never thought that I would find a false Pope that would disgust and revolt us more than Ratzinger, but in Bergoglio we have!

News Report No. 1 (by miguel de Portugal)

While discussing the state of the economy in Spain with a small local construction-related businessman, this is what I found.

Up to some years ago the small businessmen normally operated in Spain with a Credit Line extended by the banks and secured by the personal assets of the borrowers. It worked just as it did/does in the U.S. and other nations - it covered for the temporary lows in the cash flow of the businesses.

Then, in November 2007, the banks started calling their long time customers to ask them to settle any outstanding balance because the Credit Line practice was coming to an end. No explanation was given. This seemed quite strange to most small businessmen since Spain's Real Estate bubble was in full swing

As we all know, it was on September 2008 that the ongoing world financial crisis lead by the Lehman Brothers crash commenced. Since then, the gold price has risen 70% in value (adjusting for inflation).

From the behavior of the Spanish bankers (and only God knows of how many others),  it is obvious that the money string-pullers of the world knew, with eleven month advance notice, that the world economy was going under soon.

This is how the masses continue to be manipulated and squeezed from the last coins they have left.

Pope breaks with protocol by bowing to Queen Rania of Jordan. (1)

The Pope has broken yet another point of Vatican protocol by bowing when he met Queen Rania of Jordan.  As head of state at the Vatican, not to mention the leader of the world's 1.2 billion catholics, protocol requires visitors to bow to him when they meet him at the Holy See.

But Francis, who has made the forgetting of formalities a trademark of his papacy, bowed when he met a smiling Rania as she visited the Vatican with her husband King Abdullah II on Thursday. "Up until the 19th century visitors would kiss the pope's shoes, and the tradition is still that all visitors, women included, bow to him, but Francis behaves as he did before he became pope and is not interested in protocol," a senior Vatican official told The Daily Telegraph.

miguel de Portugal comments: This is beyond breaking protocol - this is an insult to those who believe that he is the Vicar of Christ.  To us, this is to be expected; but for the uninformed - what will they think? The Vicar of Christ in an act of submission to a Muslim queen?

DNA Double Take - It is not as unique as it was thought. (1)

From biology class to "C.S.I.," we are told again and again that our genome is at the heart of our identity. Read the sequences in the chromosomes of a single cell, and learn everything about a person’s genetic information - or, as 23andme, a prominent genetic testing company, says on its Web site, “The more you know about your DNA, the more you know about yourself.”

But scientists are discovering that - to a surprising degree - we contain genetic multitudes. Not long ago, researchers had thought it was rare for the cells in a single healthy person to differ genetically in a significant way. But scientists are finding that it's quite common for an individual to have multiple genomes. Some people, for example, have groups of cells with mutations that are not found in the rest of the body. Some have genomes that came from other people.

"There have been whispers in the matrix about this for years, even decades, but only in a very hypothetical sense," said Alexander Urban, a geneticist at Stanford University. Even three years ago, suggesting that there was widespread genetic variation in a single body would have been met with skepticism, he said. "You would have just run against the wall."

But a series of recent papers by Dr. Urban and others has demonstrated that those whispers were not just hypothetical. The variation in the genomes found in a single person is too large to be ignored. "We now know it’s there," Dr. Urban said. "Now we're mapping this new continent."

miguel de Portugal comments: (a) For decades this truth was being entertained but.... the "scientific establishment", those who serve better as floor mops than to allow true scientific progress, would have mocked it.... naturally.... because it was beyond their very scientific limited ability in spite of the fact that they comprise "the establishment".
(b) As the saying goes - "We are tickled pink" because this fills some gaps we had in explaining some key aspects of the very real Parallel Universes. (2)

As it turned out their research has yielded far greater fruit for our data base than they will ever harvest due to the lack of the time that is left for humanity as is.

Employment gap between rich, poor widest on record. (1)

The gap in employment rates between America's highest- and lowest-income families has stretched to its widest levels since officials began tracking the data a decade ago, according to an analysis of government data conducted for The Associated Press.

Rates of unemployment for the lowest-income families - those earning less than $20,000 - have topped 21 percent, nearly matching the rate for all workers during the 1930s Great Depression.

U.S. households with income of more than $150,000 a year have an unemployment rate of 3.2 percent, a level traditionally defined as full employment. At the same time, middle-income workers are increasingly pushed into lower-wage jobs.

"This was no 'equal opportunity' recession or an 'equal opportunity' recovery," said Andrew Sum, director of the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University. "One part of America is in depression, while another part is in full employment."

miguel de Portugal comments: (sarcasm on) Oh, gee.... and I thought that there was a Santa Claus. (sarcasm off)

The world is awash with statistics clearly indicating that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, plus the fact that the very high end merchandise - of all types - is setting new sales records every year.... thus, the Associated Press analysis tells us nothing new... but perhaps it had to be spelled out for those who would not believe it otherwise.

We thank the AP for the welcome effort.

Record return of Arctic ice cap as it grows by 60% in a year. (1)

    * Almost a million more square miles of ocean covered with ice than in 2012
    * BBC reported in 2007 global warming would leave Arctic ice-free in summer by 2013
    * Publication of UN climate change report suggesting global warming caused by humans pushed back to later this month

A chilly Arctic summer has left nearly a million more square miles of ocean covered with ice than at the same time last year – an increase of 60 per cent.

The rebound from 2012’s record low comes six years after the BBC reported that global warming would leave the Arctic ice-free in summer by 2013.

Instead, days before the annual autumn re-freeze is due to begin, an unbroken ice sheet more than half the size of Europe already stretches from the Canadian islands to Russia’s northern shores.

The Northwest Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific has remained blocked by pack-ice all year. More than 20 yachts that had planned to sail it have been left ice-bound and a cruise ship attempting the route was forced to turn back.

Some eminent scientists now believe the world is heading for a period of cooling that will not end until the middle of this century – a process that would expose computer forecasts of imminent catastrophic warming as dangerously misleading.

The disclosure comes 11 months after The Mail on Sunday triggered intense political and scientific debate by revealing that global warming has 'paused' since the beginning of 1997 – an event that the computer models used by climate experts failed to predict.

miguel de Portugal comments:
Considering what we published in our The Sequence of the Creation Story (2) about the ice ages, no one should be surprised. Take a look:

A summary of the sequence of climatic events for the last 14,500 years

Information within brackets "[  ]" is added by The M+G+R Foundation

12,500 BC - Rapid [rapid = within a few years or decades] warming and moistening of climates in some areas. Rapid deglaciation begins.

11,500 BC - Nearly all areas with climates at least as warm and moist as today's

10,800 BC (+/- 200 years) - A climatic reversal - rapid onset of cool, dry climate in many areas. (This era is known as the Younger Dryas.)

9,500 BC (+/- 200 years) - Younger Dryas glacial period ends suddenly, and Earth goes back to warmth and moist climates (Holocene, or Stage 1)

[Half of the warming in this period took place in a brief span of 15 years..]

7,000 BC - 6,200 BC - Climates warmer and often moister than today's

[The Earth entered several thousand years of conditions warmer and moister than today; the Saharan and Arabian deserts almost completely disappeared under a vegetation cover, and in the northern latitudes forests grew slightly closer to the poles than they do at present. This phase occurred between about 7,000 and 3,000 BC]

At about 6,200 BC - Sudden cool and dry phase in many areas

6,000-2,500 BC - Climates somewhat warmer and moister than today's

[3150 BC - According to traditional Egyptologists, Narmer (First Dynasty) started to rule in Ancient Egypt.  Egypt was not desert-like then. The Sphinx plus anything else that may have survived the Flood were already built, and had been in place for thousands of years. That is, the "ancient" Egyptian did not start dressed with a loin cloth, wielding a club and uttering guttural sounds in lieu of speech.]

Since 2,500 BC - Climates were fairly similar to the present (except about 600 BC - when a relatively wet/cold event  - of unknown duration - took place in many areas)
Our word for the climate scientists is: "Chill out" and start praying  - God calls the shots, did then and does now!.... and while you are "chilling out" - why don't you find out why the world population is being lied about the seismic activity in the world?

Documentary on Pope to air with new disclaimer. (1)

ASTRO is amending a controversial disclaimer that precedes the History Channel documentary on Pope Francis. The original disclaimer that was aired before the premiere of "His Holiness Pope Francis: The Pope from the End of the World" over the History channel (Ch 555) on Aug 11, caused a furore among the Christian community, especially those of the Catholic faith.

The original disclaimer read: "This program portrays depiction of religious figures and represents views other than Muslims. Viewer discretion is advised."

However following the outcry, Astro will now air a "less offensive" disclaimer, say sources.

It reads: "The following programme may contain religious views, statements or scenes that may require viewer discretion".

The new disclaimer will be aired before the programme's broadcasts at 10.05pm tonight and at 2.05am tomorrow.

Astro has declined to comment on its decision to run the disclaimer, while the Film Censorship Board (LPF) has washed its hands off the matter, stating that it never instructed Astro to run the disclaimer.

However, sources tell FZ.com that the broadcaster was merely carrying out what LPF had reminded Astro to do at numerous meetings about being cautious when airing "sensitive" material.

'Behold! God said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow Thee superior."'
The Prophet Mohammed is not saying that his own followers will be "superior" - he is saying, in the Name of God, that those who follow Jesus will be made superior. Hardly a position to justify the abuses by Christians against the Muslims over the centuries - abuses which are now yielding the horrible fruit of terrorism.

In the same verse we read about Jesus' Resurrection and Glorification:

"I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme..."

Summarizing what has been stated about Jesus in the Qur'an

In S. III 60 we read:

"The Truth (comes) from God alone; so be not of those who doubt."
 and

The Qur'an Exalts Mary

While the Roman Catholic Church dithered for centuries about the Immaculate Condition of the Virgin Mary (and, finally, in the 19th Century the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception was pronounced) these alleged "camel drivers" had it as part of their Holy Book - the Qur'an.
In S.III. 42 we read:
Behold! The angels said: "O Mary! God hath chosen thee and purified thee - chosen thee above the women of all nations."
Roman Catholics should be so Blessed if the much hallowed Vatican and its almost adored Popes had acknowledged Mary's highly exalted position and Immaculate condition 1600 years ago!

Should we be surprised that a disclaimer was used? This does not mean that we agree with the placing of the disclaimer. We are trying to show the reasoning behind it.

Banks in Cyprus loose a fourth of their deposits. (1)

The personal and business bank deposits in Cyprus totalled 36.662 billions Euro (approx: 48 billion of US dollar) in July. This represents a drop of one billion Euros from the previous month.

In barely seven months the money leaving Cyprus has reached 11.766 billion Euros - 24.3 % of the total according to the European Central Bank.

miguel de Portugal comments: We will now show you how people are being lied to in the European Union by default. The information is officially out, but the media - regardless of political orientation - is choosing to hide it.

Europe strikes deal to push cost of bank failure on investors. (1)

The European Union agreed on Thursday to force investors and wealthy savers to share the costs of future bank failures, moving closer to drawing a line under years of taxpayer-funded bailouts that have prompted public outrage.

After seven hours of late-night talks, finance ministers from the bloc's 27 countries emerged with a blueprint to close or salvage banks in trouble. The plan stipulates that shareholders, bondholders and depositors with more than 100,000 euros ($132,000) should share the burden of saving a bank.

The deal is a boost for EU leaders, who meet later on Thursday in Brussels, and can show that they are finally getting to grips with the financial crisis that began in mid-2007 with the near collapse of Germany's IKB.

"For the first time, we agreed on a significant bail-in to shield taxpayers," said Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem, referring to the process in which shareholders and bondholders must bear the costs of restructuring first.

The rules break a taboo in Europe that savers should never lose their deposits, although countries will have some flexibility to decide when and how to impose losses on a failing bank's creditors.

When they recently pulled this trick on Cyprus, they swore on the proverbial stack of Bibles that such was a one time event and would never be applied as a European Union wide policy. We wrote about it back in March. (3)

Since the people in Cyprus are convinced that what happened there exclusively applied to Cyprus, they moved their deposits to allegedly secure countries like Germany and France.... without knowing, due to a concerted press black out, that all countries of the European Union - except the UK - are subject to confiscation of deposits of over 100,000 Euro just as it happened in Cyprus.

Amazing; simply amazing!

Under Pope Francis, liberation theology comes of age (even though Ratzinger has condemned it in no uncertain terms.) (1)

Pope Francis' Sept. 11 meeting with Dominican Father Gustavo Gutierrez was an informal one, held in the in the pope's residence, the Domus Sanctae Marthae, and not listed on his official schedule. Yet the news that Pope Francis had received the 85-year old Peruvian priest, who is widely considered the father of liberation theology, has excited interest far beyond the Vatican's walls.

During the 1990s, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith conducted a lengthy critical review of Father Gutierrez's work, and required him to write and rewrite articles clarifying some of his theological and pastoral points.

But within a single week in early September 2013, the Vatican newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, published an interview with Father Gutierrez, an article by the theologian himself, and two articles praising his work -- one of them by the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Archbishop Gerhard L. Muller.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday sent a strong warning to Syria, saying 'the threat of force is real' if it does not carry out an internationally brokered agreement to hand over its chemical weapons.

Kerry issued the warning during a stop in Jerusalem, where he briefed jittery Israeli leaders on the new U.S.-Russian plan to rid neighboring Syria of its chemical weapons by the middle of next year.

Hacker targets millions of German mobile phone customers. (1)

A hacker has stolen the personal details of around two million Vodafone Germany customers. They gained access to one of the mobile phone operator’s servers and obtained names, addresses and bank account numbers.

Vodafone says the hacker did not get hold of passwords and security numbers. But the company warned customers that criminals could launch so-called “phishing” attacks, using fake emails, to try to trick them into revealing more details.

The investigation is understood to be looking into a person who was working for a sub-contractor for Vodafone's administration system.

Archbishop Pietro Parolin says  "Priest Celibacy Not Set in Stone" -  it's up for discussion, though it is an important tradition. (1)

While Pope Francis is off puttering around in a second-hand car, his soon-to-be secretary of state has been doing something even more controversial: talking about priestly celibacy.

When he was asked about it by a Venezuelan newspaper, Archbishop Pietro Parolin said the matter was open to discussion. "Celibacy is not an institution, but look, it is also true that you can discuss (it) because as you say this is not a dogma, a dogma of the church," Parolin said, per NBC News.

He did, however, stress that it is a long-held Catholic tradition. "The efforts that the church made to keep ecclesiastical celibacy, to impose ecclesiastical celibacy, have to be taken into consideration," he said. "One cannot say simply that this belongs in the past."

and

Excommunicated bishop still sees himself as Roman Catholic. (2)

Excommunicated Zambian Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo, who advocates for married priests within the Roman Catholic Church, said he has not split from Rome though many of the priests he ordained no longer see themselves as part of the church.

"We are not a breakaway church," said Milingo, who married Maria Sung, a Korean acupunturist, in 2001. "Within the Catholic Church married priests existed for a thousand years."

Milingo's most recent statement may be part of an effort to reinstate his pension, which was revoked after he was excommunicated by the Vatican in 2006 after he consecrated four married priests as bishops.

In March, Milingo retired from ministry, appointing Archbishop Peter Paul Brennan of the African Orthodox Church and the Ecumenical Catholic Diocese of the Americas as his movement's head.

"He considers himself a Roman Catholic and will remain so all his life," said Brennan. "He remains a Roman Catholic archbishop. He offers Mass daily and prays five rosaries - one is for the Holy Father - and he prays the Divine Office every day."

Milingo's quest to reunite with Rome may be quixotic. The Catholic Church has cut all ties to him. Milingo's movement wants the church to apologize for allegedly selling married priests' wives and children as slaves after Pope Gregory VII made celibacy a requirement in the 11th century.

But the married priests movement in Africa is fractured; many priests have moved on and no longer see themselves as part of the Catholic Church.

miguel de Portugal comments: How can anyone take the Roman Catholic Church Administration seriously?

The problem is that the disoriented children of God equate the pristine Catholic Faith with the Circus Romanus presented by said Administration. Worse yet, they may dismiss God because, based on the historical and current behavior of these millenary jokers, God just could not exist.

Regarding celibacy.... It is a Scriptural reality that celibacy was not an initial requirement for the Holy Orders. However, as we have said before, when one is to serve God, His children become our family. Any other family - even if one's wife is sterile and no children resulted from the marriage - could not be given the rightful attention the husband-priest's wife deserves... if He is truly serving his spiritual family.

An hour and a half before writing these lines I was making the following statement to a close cooperator who was on a working visit to our location: "In my eyes, my son is no better than you; your spiritual well being is, to me, as important as that of my biological son, and so is the spiritual well-being of the billions of people on this planet whom I have never seen or dealt with.... but who God knows personally."

As a matter of fact, we have taken the concept of celibacy one step further. In the service of God one cannot interact with close friends as one would do in a regular life, unless, said individuals know, accept and respect the fact that he/she cannot expect our attention whenever they wish at the expense of a spiritual family member or our spiritual responsibilities.

Therefore, celibacy goes way beyond romance and sexual activity.

Surprising Enhancements to Apple's iPhone Line. (1)

...the iPhone 5S has a fingerprint reader, ingeniously built right into the Home button. You don't have to push the button - just touch it - to wake the phone and unlock it. It works at any angle.

You can teach it to recognize up to five fingers, yours or a loved one's; teaching it involves opening the Settings app and tapping the Home button about a dozen times, as the phone builds a more and more complete picture of your whorls, loops and arches.

You can use it instead of a password to make purchases from Apple’s online stores, too — books, music, TV shows and so on. At the moment, other apps can't use it — for logins into Web sites, Twitter and so on. Apple says it may add that feature down the road, but for now, it’s for unlocking the phone and making Apple purchases only.

Apple says that the images of your fingerprints are encrypted and stored on the phone's chip, and that they're never transmitted or stored online, by Apple or anyone else.

miguel de Portugal comments: We have had that feature in our main computer since 2005 and never have used it. Such feature was all that was needed to have a "Perfect Identity Theft".

Anyone who will believe that "Apple says that the images of your fingerprints are encrypted and stored on the phone's chip, and that they're never transmitted or stored online, by Apple or anyone else." needs to wake up from the deep slumber he/she is in.

We wonder how fast hackers will be able to acquire those "secure" fingerprint images and what will their on-line going price be?

Amazing, simply amazing!

Imagining a Cyberattack on the Power Grid. (1)

More than 200 utilities and government agencies across the country, from Consolidated Edison to the Department of Homeland Security to Verizon, are now expected to sign up for the largest emergency drill to test the electricity sector's preparation for cyberattack. The drill, scheduled for November, will simulate an attack by an adversary that takes down large sections of the power grid and knocks out vast areas of the continent for weeks.

The drill, organized by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, is to explore how the country would respond to an enormous grid failure that interrupts supplies of water, food and fuel and creates disruptions on a scale far beyond those of Sept. 11, 2001.

From the White House
[our highlights]

Introduction

Those in the mailing list of the White House received the following communication from President Obama after his Address to the Nation of last Tuesday regarding Syria. We feel that it should carefully reviewed because his logic is quite sound. This is not a partisan issue; it is a National Security issue and we would have posted it regardless of who had been the U.S. President in office.

Good evening -

I just addressed the nation about the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

Over the past two years, what began as a series of peaceful protests against the repressive regime of Bashar al-Assad has turned into a brutal civil war in Syria. Over 100,000 people have been killed.

In that time, we have worked with friends and allies to provide humanitarian support for the Syrian people, to help the moderate opposition within Syria, and to shape a political settlement. But we have resisted calls for military action because we cannot resolve someone else's civil war through force.

The situation profoundly changed in the early hours of August 21, when more than 1,000 Syrians -- including hundreds of children -- were killed by chemical weapons launched by the Assad government.

What happened to those people -- to those children -- is not only a violation of international law -- it's also a danger to our security. Here's why:

If we fail to act, the Assad regime will see no reason to stop using chemical weapons. As the ban against these deadly weapons erodes, other tyrants and authoritarian regimes will have no reason to think twice about acquiring poison gases and using them. Over time, our troops could face the prospect of chemical warfare on the battlefield. It could be easier for terrorist organizations to obtain these weapons and use them to attack civilians. If fighting spills beyond Syria's borders, these weapons could threaten our allies in the region.

So after careful deliberation, I determined that it is in the national security interests of the United States to respond to the Assad regime's use of chemical weapons through a targeted military strike. The purpose of this strike would be to deter Assad from using chemical weapons, to degrade his regime's ability to use them, and make clear to the world that we will not tolerate their use.

Though I possess the authority to order these strikes, in the absence of a direct threat to our security I believe that Congress should consider my decision to act. Our democracy is stronger when the President acts with the support of Congress -- and when Americans stand together as one people.

Over the last few days, as this debate unfolds, we've already begun to see signs that the credible threat of U.S. military action may produce a diplomatic breakthrough. The Russian government has indicated a willingness to join with the international community in pushing Assad to give up his chemical weapons and the Assad regime has now admitted that it has these weapons, and even said they'd join the Chemical Weapons Convention, which prohibits their use.

It's too early to tell whether this offer will succeed, and any agreement must verify that the Assad regime keeps its commitments. But this initiative has the potential to remove the threat of chemical weapons without the use of force.

That's why I've asked the leaders of Congress to postpone a vote to authorize the use of force while we pursue this diplomatic path. I'm sending Secretary of State John Kerry to meet his Russian counterpart on Thursday, and I will continue my own discussions with President Putin. At the same time, we'll work with two of our closest allies -- France and the United Kingdom -- to put forward a resolution at the U.N. Security Council requiring Assad to give up his chemical weapons, and to ultimately destroy them under international control.

Meanwhile, I've ordered our military to maintain their current posture to keep the pressure on Assad, and to be in a position to respond if diplomacy fails. And tonight, I give thanks again to our military and their families for their incredible strength and sacrifices.

As we continue this debate -- in Washington, and across the country -- I need your help to make sure that everyone understands the factors at play.

Please share this message with others to make sure they know where I stand, and how they can stay up to date on this situation. Anyone can find the latest information about the situation in Syria, including video of tonight's address, here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/issues/foreign-policy/syria

Thank you,

President Barack Obama

Russia balks at French plan for U.N. Security Council resolution on Syrian chemical arms. (1)

A last-ditch effort to avert a U.S. military strike by transferring control of Syrian chemical weapons ran into obstacles Tuesday, as Russia balked at a French plan to enforce an international agreement under a binding U.N. Security Council resolution with a military option if necessary.

An unexpected Russian proposal to place Syria’s chemical weapons under international monitoring and ultimately destroy them had appeared to be gaining traction earlier in the day, as Syria embraced it, China and Iran voiced support, and the United States said it would explore the idea seriously.

But a telephone conversation between French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, revealed a deep divide over their visions of the Security Council's role - and particularly over the prospect of military action to ensure that an agreement would be honored.

There were also doubts about how Syria’s stockpiles of chemical weapons could be transferred to international monitors in the midst of a bloody and protracted civil war that has claimed more than 100,000 lives.

miguel de Portugal comments: It was a good idea while it was in general terms. It seems that it was no more than a Sino-Soviet diversionary tactic.

Syrian army attacks hills around Christian village. (1)

Syrian troops launched an attack Monday on hills overlooking a Christian-majority village near the capital Damascus, two days after rebel forces captured the ancient community, an activist group said.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said fighters from the al-Qaida-affiliated Jabhat al-Nusra or Nusra Front and the Qalamon Liberation Front still control Maaloula, an ancient village that is home to two of the oldest surviving monasteries in Syria. Rebels captured the village on Saturday.

The attack highlights fears among Syrian Christians that the alternative to Assad's regime - which is made up mostly of Alawites, followers of an offshoot of Shiite Islam - would not tolerate minority religions.

Such concerns have helped Assad retain the support of large chunks of Syria's minority communities, including Christians, Alawites, Druze and ethnic Kurds. Most of the rebels and their supporters are Sunni Muslims.

miguel de Portugal comments: Mr. al-Assad may play this card to the maximum possible to gain the support of Christians everywhere.

Of course, these fears of the minority religious groups may be well founded, but they cannot justify the continuing massacres that al-Assad has been conducting for quite some time.

NSA evidence may be key to Hammarskjold mystery. (1)

America's National Security Agency may hold crucial evidence about one of the greatest unsolved mysteries of the Cold War — the cause of the 1961 plane crash which killed United Nations Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold, a commission which reviewed the case said Monday.

Widely considered the U.N.'s most effective chief, Hammarskjold died as he was attempting to bring peace to the newly independent Congo. The crash of his DC-6 aircraft in the forest near Ndola Airport in modern-day Zambia has bred a rash of conspiracy theories, many centering on some startling inconsistencies.

In his introduction to its report, commission Chairman Stephen Sedley said key evidence may lie with America's electronic eavesdropping agency, the NSA. Sedley said it was a "near certainty" that the NSA was recording radio transmissions from the African airfield near where Hammarskjold's plane crashed, meaning that American intelligence could help determine whether the U.N. chief died as a result of an accident - or of a conspiracy.

"The only dependable extant record of the radio traffic, if there is one, will so far as we know be the NSA's," he said. "If it exists, it will either confirm or rebut the claim that the DC-6 was fired on or threatened with attack immediately before its descent into the forest."

The National Security Archive and the National Security Agency did not immediately return messages seeking comment, and what the next step in any potential investigation might be isn't clear.

miguel de Portugal comments: Now... let's see.... just until yesterday the NSA was an "evil doer" and now it is called a "dependable record keeper".

We still think that the work the NSA does - as long as they keep individuals as Mr. Snowden away from its nerve centers and it is appropriately supervised by the court appointed to do so - is a real necessity in today's world.

Every day that goes by we are more concerned by cyberspace "data-miners for profit" (2) than whether the NSA knows who is in my phone directory or what do I do when I travel.

[The last two "guardian Angels", that I know of, who travelled with me were "bored to tears". One was to Orlando, Fla. in 2005 and another was to Istanbul in 2003. The other one was a professional tour guide in Turkey who just wanted to be my private guide - free of charge - in my third trip there in 2003. When he confirmed that "the name of my game" was God, he even enlisted me to help him buy (and test drive for him in Istanbul !! (3)) a used car.

Actually, God had prepared this whole set up in such a way that it was through him and his devout Muslim family that the Secret Concept of the Most Holy Trinity started to make the rounds amongst the devout (non fanatical) Muslims in Turkey. I say that "God had prepared" it since the sharing of the information just happened as the result of our week long harmonious interaction and not as the result of any planning by my part.]

Syria positive about giving up chemical weapons. (1)

Syria on Monday quickly welcomed a call from Russia, its close ally, to place Syrian chemical arsenals under international control, then destroy them to avert a U.S. strike, but did not offer a time frame or any other specifics.

The statement by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem appeared to mark the first official acknowledgement by Damascus that it possesses chemical weapons and reflected what appeared to be an attempt by Syrian President Bashar Assad to avoid the U.S. military attack.

miguel de Portugal comments: Now, that is real progress! If al-Assad is sincere about this, we may be witnessing a miracle. Of course, whether we profit from said potential miracle or not is "a horse of a different color"!

With the World watching, Syria amassed nerve gas. (1)

Syria's top leaders amassed one of the world’s largest stockpiles of chemical weapons with help from the Soviet Union and Iran, as well as Western European suppliers and even a handful of American companies, according to American diplomatic cables and declassified intelligence records.

While an expanding group of nations banded together in the 1980s to try to block the Syrian effort, prohibiting the sale of goods that would bolster the growing chemical weapons stockpile, the archives show that Syria’s governing Assad family exploited large loopholes, lax enforcement and a far greater international emphasis on limiting the spread of nuclear arms.

miguel de Portugal comments: This is exactly the same thing Germany did under Hitler. Germany was forbidden by the treaty signed after its surrender in World War I from doing everything that Hitler did in preparation for launching World War II - while the rest of Europe and the US were looking the other way - preoccupied with the post 1929 world financial crisis.

As the saying goes, there is nothing new under the Sun.

Pope thanks public for joining his Syria vigil. (1)

Pope Francis has denounced arms proliferation and illegal weapons trade, saying the desire to make profits from arms possibly fuels wars in the world.

miguel de Portugal comments: Yes, Berogoglio, and the desire to make profits using the Holy Name of God was, and continues to be, the cause of the failed Evangelization effort.

Of the two "profit drivers", those behind the proliferation and illegal weapons trade will have a much smaller invoice to face at the time of Judgment than those who used the Holy Name of God to do everything Jesus warned the religious establishment of His time against.

And thou Capharnaum, shalt thou be exalted up to heaven? thou shalt go down even unto hell. For if in Sodom had been wrought the miracles that have been wrought in thee, perhaps it had remained unto this day. But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee. [Mat. 11:23-24]

But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required: and to whom they have committed much, of him they will demand the more. [Luke 12:48]

and last, but not least....

Or how canst thou say to thy brother: Brother, let me pull the mote out of thy eye, when thou thyself seest not the beam in thy own eye? Hypocrite, cast first the beam out of thy own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to take out the mote from thy brother' s eye. [Luke 6:42]

The story of Katrina Leung and her two FBI lovers and analysis of the potential damage - Assessing the damage

Information provided by Katrina Leung made its way to the desks of four U.S. presidents. But since the Parlor Maid investigation began, the FBI has been forced to reexamine each piece of intelligence provided by Leung -- and every investigation that J.J. Smith and Bill Cleveland worked on -- to evaluate if any of its Chinese counterintelligence cases had been compromised.

Here, former FBI Special Agents Edward Appel, Jack Keller and T. Van Magers, author Dan Stober, and J.J. Smith's defense attorney, Brian Sun, assess the extent to which the Parlor Maid debacle may have affected U.S. national security.

miguel de Portugal comments: Two days ago God led us to a report published in Portugal which introduced Katrina Leung case to us. We have found a comprehensive report on her case in English for your review.

If you take the time to review it in depth you will find out why:

(b) Our Intelligence system is worthless when it comes to cheks and balances which, in turn, makes the whole system worthless.
(c) Our only security is God

Since we are sure that there is also a Russian version of Katrina Leung, you will also understand whay Russia is "running circles" around the US too.

Tsunami Study Has Bad News for Southern California (2)

The US Geological Survey has simulated the effects of a 9.1-magnitude earthquake off Alaska, and for southern California, the results could be disastrous.

Some 750,000 would need to evacuate coastal areas within a matter of hours as floods spread in Long Beach and Orange County, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The tsunami could cause damage to the tune of $8 billion; the waves would move along the coast down to San Diego and possibly move inland via rivers. Northern California would actually see larger waves, reaching as high as 23 feet.

"The idea (of the study) is to say: Look, these are not distant events, these could actually happen here," says a scientist. Experts say such a disaster could occur about once in several centuries. "Your life depends on how you respond," says the head of the study.

miguel de Portugal comments: Once again we wish to remind one and all that there are many, many natural options that God can use to "pull the plug". Ways which will make a bowl of Jell-O look solid as a rock compared to "mighty" man facing them. Events for which man is incapable of  preparing for except by drawing closer to God and, after making simple "make ready" arrangements (3), placing his full trust in God.

Maybe more people should listen and pay close attention to what we announce, and act accordingly.

Vatican recalls ambassador in Dominican Republic amid accusations of child abuse. (1)

The Vatican has recalled its ambassador to the Dominican Republic after he was accused of sexually abusing children.

Two local TV channels broadcast allegations of paedophilia against Archbishop Josef Wesolowski, who had been nuncio, or ambassador, in the capital, Santo Domingo, for nearly six years.

A spokesman for the Catholic church in the Dominican Republic, Monsignor Agripino Nunez Collado, said that "The law is for everyone" and there was no excuse for anyone who violated the law, "not citizenship, not faith, not creed, not politics, not religion", saying again "The law is for all."

Wesolowski will be investigated over the charges of paedophilia by the Holy See as well as by prosecutors in the Dominican Republic.

Pope Francis has previously said that he wants to root out the sexual abuse of children by priests and ensure that abusers are punished.

miguel de Portugal comments: If the Vatican and its Administrators were serious about rooting out the sexual abuse of children by priests why is it that, as usual, it has to be the press or some abused individual the one to blow the whistle?

We are sure that Bergoglio is taking care of the sexual abuse within the RCC Administration as he is taking care of the poor - just keep talking about it and doing nothing else.

Rockets in Syrian Attack Carried Large Payload of Gas, Experts Say. (1)

A new study of images apparently from the Syrian attack last month concludes that the rockets delivering toxic sarin gas to neighborhoods around Damascus held up to 50 times more nerve agent than previously estimated, a conclusion that could solve the mystery of why there were so many more victims than in previous chemical attacks.

The study, by leading weapons experts, also strongly suggests that the mass of toxic material could have come only from a large stockpile. American, British and French officials have charged that only the Syrian government and not the rebels was in position to make such large quantities of deadly toxins.

The new study was conducted by Richard M. Lloyd, an expert in warhead design, and Theodore A. Postol, a physicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They based their investigation on scores of online videos and photographs posted since the Aug. 21 attack sent thousands of sick and dying Syrians to hospitals in the Damascus suburbs.

miguel de Portugal comments: (sarcasm on) How dare these experts question the doubts that the (please bow three times) United Nations has about whether nerve gas was used or not. After all, that is what those (please bow three times again) United Nations "experts" are trying to determine since is such a difficult call to make. (sarcasm off)

The worse part of this situation and many others - on a worldwide scale - is that the officials continue to give the general public the most ridiculous information/explanations and the general public continues to believe all of it.

Right now the government in Spain is blowing the Trumpets of Triumph because the level of unemployment did not increase in this quarter.... as a matter of fact, it actually dropped.... by 31 (THIRTY ONE) individuals.... although there has been no increase in the Social Security rolls of contributors... not even by said 31 individuals!

Amazing, simply amazing....

Acxiom - a data gathering and marketing enterprise - draws aside a little bit the veil of data gathering. (1)

Aboutthedata.com, a Web site introduced on Wednesday by a leading marketing technology firm called the Acxiom Corporation, is offering individual consumers a glimpse of some of the details the company has collected about them, ...

Visitors who log in to the site may review many seemingly innocuous facts, such as whether someone in their household owns a dog or a cat, or is interested in jogging or biking.

Aboutthedata.com delivers a soothing message about Acxiom, a data broker that collects, stores, analyzes and sells billions of pieces of information about consumers with the aim of helping corporate clients like banks, insurers and retailers aim marketing pitches at specific audience segments.

Yet critics say the new consumer site omits so many details about Acxiom's data-gathering and analysis practices thus sanitizing the data mining behind data-driven marketing.

Aboutthedata.com, ... leaves out many data elements that Acxiom markets to its corporate clients - intimate details like whether a person is a "potential inheritor" or an "adult with senior parent," or whether a household has a "diabetic focus" or "senior needs."

miguel de Portugal comments: It is obvious that "data mining" has become a big business which is fed with our "it is none of your business" private information.

State of European Union Commentary
[our highlights]

Anyone knows that the un-elected, but undisputable, leader of the European Union is Mrs. Angela Merkel who, at this time is campaigning hard to be elected again Chancellor of Germany.

But... who really is Angela Merkel? As the very appropriate saying goes: "A picture is worth a thousand words." and this is precisely what we will use to examine the hidden side of Angela Merkel.

Take a  look at this close up photograph of Mrs. Merkel: (1)

It is obvious that she bites her nails mercilessly. That habit/obsession is a psychological X-Ray of Mrs. Merkel. Let us see what some experts in the field say:

Nail biting is more than a bad habit: Experts to classify the addiction as a mental disorder  (2)

3 November 2012

Medical experts are preparing to change the designation of nail biting from "not otherwise classified," to "obsessive compulsive disorder".

Millions of people around the world suffer from a self-mutilating and often painful addiction to biting their nails, which can be harder to quit than smoking cigarettes, but is often overlooked as a relatively benign habit.

Medical experts are now taking a closer look at the addiction and have decided to change its classification from a mere habit to a full-fledged obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The American Psychiatric Association is preparing to change the designation of nail biting from ‘not otherwise classified,’ to ‘obsessive compulsive disorder’ in its upcoming issue of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, NBC News reported.

Habits that are commonly associated with OCD include repetitive hand-washing and hair-pulling. The disease is characterized by unreasonable thoughts and fears that lead to such repetitive behaviors.

The occasional chewed nail isn’t an indication of the disorder, medical experts assure.

If Jane or Joe Doe would have this problem it would not have an impact beyond her/his close family members and workers, but for the most influential leader of the European Union, that is a completely different story!

Record radiation readings near Fukushima contaminated water tanks. (1)

Radiation readings around tanks holding contaminated water at the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant have spiked by more than a fifth to their highest levels, Japan's nuclear regulator said, heightening concerns about the clean-up of the worst atomic disaster in almost three decades.

Readings just above the ground near a set of tanks at the plant showed radiation as high as 2,200 millisieverts (mSv), the Nuclear Regulation Authority (NRA) said on Wednesday. The previous high in areas holding the tanks was the 1,800 mSv recorded on Saturday.

miguel de Portugal comments: To place the above information in perspective for our readers....

We have a professional gamma ray detector in our work area.

The normal background radiation level usually ranges between 0.00014 and 0.00022 millisieverts. The alarm sounds at 0.00030 millisieverts.

If my math does not fail me, the readings at Fukushima are about ten million times greater than our normal background.

That is "not a pretty picture", as the saying goes.

Venezuela's president says power cuts were 'electronic coup'. (1)

A blackout hit much of Venezuela including the capital Caracas on Tuesday, but the oil industry was not affected and the government said it expected all power to be restored within hours.

A dozen of the country's 24 states were hit, causing traffic chaos in parts of Caracas and other cities. But was it by accident, or design?

"I have no doubt that today a general test of an electronic coup has been activated against the Venezuelan people. I have no doubt," said President Nicolas Maduro.

miguel de Portugal comments:
Many will ask: "Vene... who?" as if Venezuela were in some "far, far away galaxy" and had no impact on the US.

The real importance of this event is that it has served to show, to prove, as a matter of fact, to those who will not believe it, that it can be done, and, if done in the US, it would, in essence, paralyze the nation, affecting "every pie in the world in which we have our fingers".

Quoting from NaturalNews -This is a huge bombshell breaking story: You've heard about the so-called "chemical weapons" in Syria that are now being invoked to try to justify another war? (1)

It turns out they are sodium fluoride, the exact same chemical dripped into the U.S. water supply as "water fluoridation." It's also the same chemical added to baby water sold at Walgreens and Wal-Mart.

Here's the proof (1) of this incredible bombshell story, including screen shots, photos, citations and quotes.

miguel de Portugal comments: This individual - Mike Adams - and his obscure and shadowy South Korean conglomerate is completely out of bounds and is becoming a truly  National Security threat.

But, as if that were not enough in another recent mail-out he highlights:

A follow up to News Report No. 1

Following is what we published on July 25th, 2013, about Mr. Adam's murky business:

About NaturalNews

Since we crossed virtual paths we have felt somewhat uneasy about Mr. Mike Adams and what (and when) he promotes in his various domains. His alleged expertise on almost everything, up to, and including spiritual matters, also caused some concerns. Perhaps it was when he started "teaching" about spiritual matters that the red flags joined the red warning lights already flashing.

Two days ago we visited his "About Us" page (1). We quote and highlight it:

The NaturalNews Network is a non-profit collection of public education websites covering topics that empower individuals to make positive changes in their health, environmental sensitivity, consumer choices and informed skepticism. The NaturalNews Network is owned and operated by Truth Publishing International, Ltd., a Taiwan corporation. It is not recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit in the United States, but it operates without a profit incentive, and its key writer, Mike Adams, receives absolutely no payment for his time, articles or books other than reimbursement for items purchased in order to conduct product reviews.

The vast majority of our content is freely given away at no charge. We offer thousands of articles and dozens of downloadable reports and guides (like the Honest Food Guide) that are designed to educate and empower individuals, families and communities so that they may experience improved health, awareness and life fulfillment.

The NaturalNews Network is not for sale, and does not accept money to cover any story (or to spike it). We are what the news industry used to be, before it sold out to big businessWe have no particular religious affiliation and are considered religion-neutral. We also have no particular political affiliation and do not endorse political candidates.

After reading the above, the red fireworks joined the red flags and flashing red lights.

We spend a few minutes doing some general checking on such a strange and foreign conglomerate and their alleged "not for their benefit" enterprises.

Following are some of the links that we viewed. Even if only 50 % of what is revealed in those links is true, every red flag, flashing red lights and red fireworks have been confirmed with physical data.

Assad pours scorn on US threats. (1)

"Syria is able to confront any external aggression and US threats will go unheeded" – the words of a defiant President Bashar al Assad during a meeting with Iranian officials.

President Obama's decision to consult Congress has also been described as an "historic American retreat".

Iranian lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi warned that military aggression against Damascus would spread to the entire Middle East and burn it and, before anything else, it will threaten Israel's security.

In preparation for possible air strikes the Istanbul-based Syrian opposition has claimed that the Assad regime has moved military equipment into civilian areas.

Meanwhile Assad supporters have organised a campaign for volunteers to form human shields at sites which are considered US targets

Marine website compromised with pro-Assad message. (1)

A Marine Corps spokesman says the Marines' recruiting website was tampered with and redirected temporarily, but no information was put at risk.

Capt. Eric Flanagan wouldn't say who was responsible for the hacking, but the site was redirected to a message from the Syrian Electronic Army, a hacker group that's claimed responsibility for disrupting the New York Times website, Twitter and other media sites the group sees as sympathetic to Syria's rebels.

and

In first major test, Obama overrules new team. (3)

For President Barack Obama's new foreign policy advisers, the first test of their willingness to undertake military action wound up being a stark lesson in the president's ability to overrule them all.

Obama's abrupt decision to seek congressional approval before striking Syria also overshadowed what had been a surprising level of consensus among the second-term team members about how to respond to a deadly chemical weapons attack against civilians in Syria.

People close to the deliberations say Secretary of State John Kerry, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, national security adviser Susan Rice and U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power largely agreed about the need to use force to punish Syrian President Bashar Assad. While there were some differing views about the speed and the scope of an attack, there were no splintered factions the way there had been during first-term debates over taking action in Libya or launching the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

But on Friday night, after a week spent speeding toward military action, the president made a stunning turnabout and decided he wanted approval from lawmakers before carrying out an attack.

miguel de Portugal comments: Brethren, the US has been downgraded from a being a Paper Tiger to Tissue Paper. This flagrant lack of respect - a lack of respect that has been well earned - will result in the worse possible scenario than if the US had stood firm.

Martin Luther King may have had a dream but what President Obama may be bringing upon the US is a nightmare.... but on schedule.

The story in the First Book of Kings may shed some light on this matter.

Japan considering dumping Fukushima’s radioactive water into the Pacific. (1)

Japan's nuclear regulator said on Monday it may have to think about dumping contaminated cooling water from the wrecked Fukushima nuclear plant into the Pacific.

There are over 1,000 tanks on-site containing the water, and one has already leaked 300 tons. Water near one tank has radiation levels 18 times higher than previously reported.

Yet the water discovered near the bottom of the tank on Sunday was measured at 1,800 millisieverts an hour, deadly after just four hours exposure. Officials are unable to explain this radiation spike, and have belatedly confirmed 300 tons of water is seeping into the sea every day.

"We think that contaminated water management by your company has completely fallen apart," Hiroshi Kishi, chairman of the Japan Fisheries Co-operative, told Tepco’s president, Naomi Hirose, during a meeting in Tokyo last week.

miguel de Portugal comments: It has taken them over one year to come to the conclusion: "We think that contaminated water management by your company has completely fallen apart,"

We wonder how long it will now take for them to act upon it before the nuke themselves to death.

Every day someone redefines the word "Stupid" which, according to dictionary.com is defined as follows:

1. lacking ordinary quickness and keenness of mind; dull.
2. characterized by or proceeding from mental dullness; foolish; senseless: a stupid question.
3. tediously dull, especially due to lack of meaning or sense; inane; pointless: a stupid party.
4. annoying or irritating; troublesome: Turn off that stupid radio.
5. in a state of stupor; stupefied: stupid from fatigue.

All of the above pales before what we see on a worldwide scale day in and day out.

Now we have the UN team analyzing to see if chemical agents were used in Syria. Not who used them, but if they were used or not.

A high school freshman could easily discern that they were used from all the reliable footage that has been published on a worldwide scale.

Who, in his/her right mind, can now respect any human institution.... and I mean ANY!

No doubt about it - Babylon [Rev. 17:5] Reigns supreme over all of them.

We sincerely look forward "Till God the Father make the enemies of Christ, His footstool." [paraphrasing Lk 20:43]

Secretary-General Named for Governorate of Vatican City State. (1)

Legionary of Christ Father Fernando Vérgez Alzaga has been named secretary general of the Governorate of Vatican City State. The Vatican announced the appointment on August 30th.

The priest will assist Cardinal Giuseppe Bertello, the president of the Governorate. Since 2008, Fr. Vérgez had been serving as the director of the Vatican's telecommunications office, a role that for now he will continue.

He has had various posts in the Vatican since 1972.

miguel de Portugal comments: The Governorate of Vatican City State is, in terms that can be understood: The governement of the Vatican State.

Now they have a Spanish priest, member of Maciel's Legionary of Christ, who "has had various posts in the Vatican since 1972", thus logically well informed on the sexual inclinations and activities of their "Father", in a position of great political power in the Vatican.

Obama Seeks Approval by Congress for Strike in Syria

President Obama abruptly changed course by asking lawmakers, who are not due to return to town for more than a week, to give him authorization before he launches a limited military strike against Syria.

Obama's Decision to Seek Approval First Lengthens Suspense of Attack

At the end of a nerve-racking day, Syrians were shocked by the president's speech. Also relieved, bewildered, confused, triumphant and angry.

miguel de Portugal comments: Without going into details - the above move, as strange and bewildering as it may seem, is in accordance to the active Will of God.

Thank God we got into it before Bergoglio's next photo-op called : A day of fasting and prayer for peace in Syria, the Middle East, and throughout the world

"I have decided to proclaim for the whole Church on 7 Sept. next, the vigil of the birth of Mary, Queen of Peace, a day of fasting and prayer for peace in Syria, the Middle East, and throughout the world" (1)

Of course this is indeed the right thing to do. Exactly what they should have been doing for 1,600 years instead of what they have done. Unfortunately it only is a major photo-op for Bergoglio as he continues to set himself up "the saviour of the world".

Experts say: Don't bomb chemical weapon sites in Syria. (1)

You simply can't safely bomb a chemical weapon storehouse into oblivion, experts say. That's why they say the United States is probably targeting something other than Syria's nerve agents.

But now there is concern that bombing other sites could accidentally release dangerous chemical weapons that the U.S. military didn't know were there because they've lost track of some of the suspected nerve agents.

Bombing stockpiles of chemical weapons - purposely or accidentally - would likely kill nearby civilians in an accidental nerve agent release, create a long-lasting environmental catastrophe or both, five experts told The Associated Press. That's because under ideal conditions - and conditions wouldn't be ideal in Syria - explosives would leave at least 20 to 30 percent of the poison in lethal form.

"If you drop a conventional munition on a storage facility containing unknown chemical agents - and we don't know exactly what is where in the Syrian arsenal - some of those agents will be neutralized and some will be spread," said Daryl Kimball, executive director of the Arms Control Association, a nonprofit that focuses on all types of weaponry. "You are not going to destroy all of them."

miguel de Portugal comments: Allow us, once again, to illustrate the faulty "wisdom" of these 21st century alleged experts.

I will be now drawing from my hands-on experience on two petrochemical complexes where we manufactured, handled and stored hydrogen cyanide, and another less known chemical which was a lethal as hydrogen cyanide, in quantities in the tens of  millions of pounds. For those who are not familiar with chemicals - hydrogen cyanide is the gas used to carry out the death sentence of a death row convict in the gas chamber. The amount used in said chambers are a few grams and, as most of you know, there are 454 grams in a pound. You can now imagine the lethal power of those two petrochemical complexes I have mentioned.

Translate all of that to: We had enough instant-death gas to kill the entire population of the State of Texas and adjacent states. Therefore, the question is: How did we protect those millions upon millions of people in case of an accident?

Quite simple: In case that there would be a massive leak (due to rupture tank, for example), we had those tanks surrounded by what were essentially industrial scale flame throwers. Any massive leak would have been quickly ignited, and assisted in its burning with a highly, but not deadly, combustible gas. Thus sparing the lives of most, if not all, who have died with the highly lethal hydrogen cyanide.

Translate this to a war scenario: To avoid the mistake of releasing dangerous chemicals during a traditional bombing, a two step procedure must be followed: Ample napalm bombing of the targets being quickly followed by the conventional munition.

We remind you - we are against any kind of war and violence. We are using my expertise and ample experience in ultra lethal chemicals to show you the "brightness" of the 21st century alleged experts.

Kerry says 'no doubt' Assad regime used chemical weapons, intel findings released. (1)

The Obama administration cranked up its call for intervention in Syria on Friday, releasing portions of an intelligence report on last week's chemical weapons attack as Secretary of State John Kerry said there's "no

doubt" the Assad regime was behind this "crime against humanity."

President Obama, shortly afterward, said he has not yet made a decision about military intervention but is considering a "limited" action.

Kerry issued a robust call for action in Syria, despite British lawmakers voting a day earlier not to get involved. He cited the findings of an intelligence assessment that was released shortly after he began speaking, saying there's clear evidence chemical weapons were used by the Assad regime last week.

"I'm not asking you to take my word for it," Kerry said, urging people to read the report. "This is what Assad did to his own people."

Kerry called Bashar Assad a "thug" and a "murderer" who must not be allowed to escape retribution for the attack.

The intelligence assessment said the U.S. government has "high confidence" that the Syrian government carried out the chemical attackusing a nerve agent.

miguel de Portugal comments: Only France is interested in backing up the US regarding the Syrian issue.

This is a textbook result of the crying wolf syndrome. The world believed the US when Bush lied to anyone who would listen about Saddam Hussein's WMD. Now we have a regime that really has them - al-Assad's - and has used them in the most brutal way, but no one is buying the US line which, this time, is true!

al-Assad stronghold in Syria a haven amid war. (1)

In this picturesque coastal city fiercely loyal to President Bashar Assad, beaches are dotted with swimmers, cafes are filled with Syrians smoking water pipes, and restaurant bars are packed with late night revelers, seemingly oblivious to the civil war raging in the rest of the country.

The Mediterranean port has emerged as an unusual example of coexistence in this country torn apart by sectarian violence. It is populated mostly by members of Assad's Alawite minority sect, the most diehard supporters of his regime. At the same time, hundreds of thousands have flocked here to escape violence in war-shattered cities such as Homs and Aleppo, many of them Sunnis, some with relatives fighting alongside the rebellion.

"Right outside of the city, there's a missile base and if they decide to hit, that's one of the things to go first," said Rana, a resident university student studying English literature. "However, we're sure they won't be hitting civilians, so we're not worried."

miguel de Portugal comments: An exercise in denial (by the general public) and in faith on the West's integrity (shown by a student who says "we're sure they won't be hitting civilians, so we're not worried")
