Points to Ponder About

The purpose of Points to Ponder About was to stimulate thinking that would draw the disoriented Faithful back to God and away from the hypocritical duplicity of some religious institutions which are destroying the little faith left on earth. Deuteronomy: “Consider that I have set before you this day life and good, and on the other hand death and evil”

Do you ever wonder why... “religious” mankind do not seem to get the straight forward message from God as it appears in the First Reading of the Mass of Thursday after Ash Wednesday which we now quote:

15 Consider that I have set before thee this day life and good, and on the other hand death and evil:

16 That thou mayst love the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways, and keep his commandments and ceremonies and judgments, and thou mayst live, and he may multiply thee, and bless thee in the land, which thou shalt go in to possess.

17 But if thy heart be turned away, so that thou wilt not hear, and being deceived with error thou adore strange gods, and serve them: 18 I foretell thee this day that thou shalt perish, and shalt remain but a short time in the land, to which thou shalt pass over the Jordan, and shalt go in to possess it.

19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Choose therefore life, that both thou and thy seed may live: 20 And that thou mayst love the Lord thy God, and obey his voice, and adhere to him (for he is thy life, and the length of thy days,) that thou mayst dwell in the land, for which the Lord swore to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that he would give it them.
[Deut 30]

How could God possibly make it any clearer? With the megaphone!

We rest our case!

[Discovery of the Head of John the Baptizer (Celebrated by the Orthodox Church)]

Why some enemies of the Faith ascribe brothers and sisters to Jesus?

Do you ever wonder why... every other illuminated, researcher, historian and/or enemy of the Faith ascribe full and/or half brothers and sisters to Jesus, yet, from the Cross He said (in reference to Mary and John): “Woman, behold thy son.” After that, He said to the disciple: ‘Behold thy Mother’. And from that hour, the disciple took Her to his own.” [John 19:26-27]

Obviously if Jesus had had full or half sisters and brothers, according their custom, Mary would have stayed with them and not be with John henceforth – even all the way to Ephesus.

Why Jesus didn’t say “wife against the husband and husband against the wife”?

Do you wonder why... when Jesus said through Luke:

51 Think ye, that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, no; but separation. 52 For there shall be from henceforth five in one house divided: three against two, and two against three. 53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against his father, the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother, the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. [Luke 12]

... yet He did not include “wife against the husband and husband against the wife”?

Because He IS perfectly coherent. Did He not also say through Mark:

6 But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. 7 For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother; and shall cleave to his wife. 8 And they two shall be in one flesh. Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh. 9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. [Mark 10]

“Two” turned into “one flesh”. If that union was made under the principles that we have explained in our document about Matrimony (1), there will be coherence within the Gospel. It may be perceived/applied differently by each individual because each spouse may be at a different point in their journey Home (2); however, there will not be a rift, a separation, a fundamental conflict. (3)

As we have explained (4) – The Holy Scriptures may have been written by men but it was done under Divine inspiration, for only the Divine can be perfectly coherent.

Amen!

(1) The indissolubility of a proper Sacrament
(2) The journey Home
(3) This is what Paul meant in 2 Corinthians 6:14-15: Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath the faithful with the unbeliever?
(4) Biblical Literalism Part 1 and Part 2
(5) The test is: Coherence

What St. Paul meant when he said “To deliver such a one to satan for the destruction of the flesh”?

Do you wonder... what St. Paul meant when he said: To deliver such a one to satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. [1 Cor 5:5] and why he did it?

We will explain it to you with an example.

There have been individuals for whom, through the Grace of God, we have secured great material and spiritual benefits. Unfortunately, the material benefits have led them astray making a mockery of the faith they once claimed to embrace. If we continue to look the other way —as we have done for too long— and do not act, we will become responsible for their misuse of the many graces secured for them.

Thus, with the same intent St. Paul made the above pronouncement, and fully deferring to the Will of God, we hereby —before the world— make a similar pronouncement upon those who, using the Divine Graces secured for them, have followed paths for which said Graces were not intended thus mocking God, the ultimate source of such Graces.

How drug companies develop new markets

Do you wonder... how drug companies develop new markets? Just like funds were raised through the sales of Indulgences... By being “creative” at the expense of those in real need. Take a look!

How we would restructure the Roman Catholic Church Administration

Do you wonder..., considering our relentless criticism of the Roman Catholic Church Administration, how we would restructure the Roman Catholic Church Administration?

It would be essentially as it is now. The real problem is made up of very worldly Administrators who are more interested in serving Mammon than God.

As far as its structure, we would only: (a) Abrogate the existing Personal Prelature which is the manifestation of the expected schism, but in disguise; and (b) Allow qualified women to become non ordained members of the College of Cardinals.

For greater details on this issue we suggest the reviewing of a related document published years ago: The Only Major Changes Allowed by God in the Catholic Faith

[The Presentation of The Lord – (Candlemas)]

Source of Bush political philosophy to establish the Imperial/Dictatorial Presidency

Do you still wonder... from where did come the political philosophy that the Bush Administration used to establish the Imperial/Dictatorial Presidency of the last eight years?

Wonder no more! Its author is Elizabeth Cheney (1). With that philosophy in place, and the Road Map for National Security (2) ready to be released on January 31, 2001 all that was needed was 9-11 to set the entire machinery in motion which has almost destroyed the United States of America.

Of course – the question that we must ask now is: Are “they” (whomever “they” are) going to allow President Obama undo all the worked so hard to achieve?

Let us pray that the Will of God be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
