What Can I, As An Individual, Do?

BACKGROUND

The Problem

As the world careens into a hell-like state, many upright and honest people ask themselves:

"What can I, as an individual, do to have a positive impact on the world? It all seems so hopeless?"

The Solution

For the believer, an example of how to have a great positive impact on the world reached us through our mail today.

Why do we believe it to be true? Why do we believe that is works?

We don't believe - we know! We practice it. What God needs is a sincere heart and Faith - He will do the rest.

Because this is such a good example we have turned the letter and our commentaries into a permanent document of The M+G+R Foundation.

DETAILS

The Letter (with minimum editing for clarity)

I have consecrated our church, the new pastor and priests to the IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY ROSA MYSTICA.

Since I did these things, we have gotten better. The crucifix which is very beautiful and real looking has been rehung and now on first fridays we have twenty four hour exposition of the HOLY EUCHARIST.

I see more people come to pray before the tabernacle. I also have consecrated the bishop and the whole diocese.

Is this all right since I am nothing but a sinner in need of the divine graces as anyone else? I also consecrate all priests I meet and many people.

I have also consecrated my house, everything I have; my neighborhood and all the people to the MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS and the IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY ROSA MYSTICA ARK OF THE COVENANT.

My life is daily trusting JESUS and HIS MOTHER and to try to do his will.

I also want to ask this: There are few priests who kneel before the tabernacle. Does this show their spiritual state? That is usually when I will pray harder for them.

May GOD have mercy on us HIS mercy endures forever

First of all: What is "To Consecrate"?

To "Consecrate" someone or something is to "entrust it" and/or "recommend it for safekeeping". When we "Consecrate" someone or something to God, Mary or a Saint, we are in reality living out the Second Commandment: "Love thy neighbor as thyself." while, at the same time, exercising the greatest of virtues: Charity.

Most Catholics have heard about the Communion of Saints and about the Mystical Body of Christ - and just as many are completely ignorant of what this truly means.

The mystical Body of Christ is composed of the Saints who are in Communion. Who are the Saints? The ones on altars and prayer cards? Yes, but not only them. The "Saints" are the members of Jesus' Family. You may then ask: "Who are the members of Jesus' Family?" According to Jesus Himself:

For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother. [Matthew 12: 50]

In the physical body, when one part of it has a problem (is infected, hurts, is cold, hot, etc.), other parts of the body swing into action and assist the ailing part. Unfortunately, when one part of the Mystical Body of Christ has a problem, most individuals who claim to be Christians (well over a billion worldwide) just turn against the ailing part of the Mystical Body with insults, marginalization, condemnation and a great variety of other physical and psychological abuses.

The result is that, instead of finding healing within the Body, that part of the Mystical Body of Christ falls victim to spiritual gangrene, and satan has his way with it.

What E. R. is doing is exactly what Jesus told us to do:

But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your heavenly Father, for he makes his sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect. [Matthew 5:43-47]

In a concrete and practical way she is invoking upon those who she thinks need assistance the Maternal care of our Heavenly Mother, and the Mercy of the Divine Heart which once experienced humanity in the flesh.

Now, what did Jesus teach us regarding asking for Divine help?

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asks for a fish? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him. [Matthew 7:7-11]

ER asks: Is this all right since I am nothing but a sinner in need of the divine graces as anyone else?

There has only been one human being (excluding Jesus since He Is God-Made-Flesh) who was not a sinner - Mary - the Immaculate One! The rest of us are sinners and God is counting on us to help one another in the way Home to the Father (1).

If God's children do not do it, who will? The Church Administration has shown that they will certainly not do it (2) - even when Heaven commands it (3).

Jesus addressed the Administrators of organized religion of His time thus:

Woe to you... hypocrites. You lock the kingdom of heaven before human beings. You do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow entrance to those trying to enter. [Matthew 23:13]

Miguel de Portugal echoes those words now for the Administrators of organized religion of today and warns them thus: "Your time is up. The stench of your betrayals have reached Heaven and now God will act." (4)

IN CONCLUSION

"O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish." [Matthew 15:28]

EPILOGUE

Is this so hard to comprehend? The solution is that simple!

Christians, quit condemning people and do exactly as ER is doing - we assure you, the time left for you to do so is very short.

Ignorance of the Word of God is not and will never be an excuse acceptable at the time of the Final Judgment, unless it is the result of the failed Evangelization, (an Evangelization about which Vatican talks, and talks and keeps on only talking about). Therefore, we also must pray for those who have never heard the Word - regardless of whose fault it is.

Even with the maternal patience and guidance of Mary since the early 19th Century (5), the Administrators of the Church just "could not get it right" , but you still can!

Did not Jesus say:

"Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these because I am going to the Father" [John 14:12]
