The world leaders met at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on September of the year 2000 to agree on the solution to inequality and poverty in the world (1)(2). As Christians we denounce such efforts as futile.
To Roman Catholic Audience of The M+G+R Foundation:
We remind you of the words of H.H. John Paul II through the Catechism of the Catholic Church
Paragraph No. 675
Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is... a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.

To Roman Catholics and all other Christians:
We remind you of the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ announcing to us that He Is
The Way, The Truth, The Light.
Thus, without The Way, The Truth and The Light we have nothing.
Any and all resolutions by the wise men of the world that do not include the Word Incarnate as its foundation is a worthless effort which will yield nothing but additional sorrow.

Comments [added on December 2017]
Seventeen years later all the efforts of the allegedly wise men of the world have produced is a world in far, far worse condition than it was when they met on September of the year 2000 to agree on the solution to inequality and poverty in the world which excluded the Word of God.
We ask you, wise men:
Aren't you ashamed of
yourselves?
Don't you realize that you - individually and collectively - are a failure?
The only thing that you have achieved in your life is to live off the hope of the people that you were supposed to help.
Don't you realize that you - individually and collectively - are a failure?
The only thing that you have achieved in your life is to live off the hope of the people that you were supposed to help.
That is why God must act.
