Deconstructing the myth that Pfizer injections averted Covid deaths in Israel
A simple statistical comparison with Sweden
A simple statistical comparison with Sweden
Thousands of averted Covid deaths in Israel: Science Fiction (1)
By Eyal Shahar (2) – June 10, 2023
In a paper published in Lancet Infect Dis, Haas and his colleagues argued that the Pfizer
vaccine averted over 5,000 deaths in Israel in the first quarter of 2021, during the Covid wave
that coincided with the first vaccination campaign. I [Shahar] will show here that their claim is
false. If any deaths have been averted at all, the number is far from their estimate –
undetectable in mortality statistics.
I will rely on comparative data from Sweden. The country that showed the world the futility of lockdowns and mask mandates will prove helpful again. [Between November 2020 and March 2021], the [Covid mortality] ratio was 2.1 (7,588 Covid deaths in Sweden versus 3,636 in Israel). That is exactly the typical mortality ratio for Sweden versus Israel in recent years.
Haas et al. claim that Israel should have seen over 8,000 Covid deaths, in the absence of vaccination, which implies over 16,000 Covid deaths in [largely] unvaccinated Sweden and an expected mortality ratio of about 4. The actual number of deaths in Sweden was 7,588, and the mortality ratio was 2.1, as we just saw. Where is the evidence that 5,000 deaths were averted in vaccinated Israel, but 10,000 deaths were not averted in Sweden (twice as many, proportionally)?
Whichever metric is used to compare unvaccinated Sweden with vaccinated Israel —reported Covid deaths or all-cause deaths— there is nothing to indicate any deviation from the usual pattern of comparative mortality in the two countries: twice as many deaths in Sweden. Judging from excess mortality, the death toll of the winter Covid wave was identical. It is impossible to reconcile these data with thousands of averted deaths in Israel by the Pfizer vaccine.

Subtleties in the Apostles' Creed – How it should be read correctly
FROM OUR FILES: December 20th, 2014
Isn't it amazing... how we may mindlessly repeat prayers or hear and see things that should make us ponder, yet we do not even notice?
A. Let us take the Apostle's Creed. Part of it reads as follows:
[take special notice of the underscore portions]
Under Pontius Pilate, He was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the
dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand
of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Now then – what we have underscored is incorrect. Take a look at the way it should read:
Under the pontificate of Caiaphas, during the procuratorship of Pontius Pilate, He was
crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day he rose
again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Faith, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Faith, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
Notice that...
• It was Caiaphas who was fully responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus – not Pontius
Pilate.
• The term for the Temple High Priest is pontificate. Sounds familiar?
• “Hell” was done away with and has been replaced with “the dead”.
• What we believe in is the catholic Faith and not the catholic Church. The Holy Scriptures defines the term “church” as a gathering/grouping of Christians.

As you may see, by “fast talking” the faithful is brainwashed to believe that:
(a) It was Pilate who was responsible for the crucifixion of Jesus, when the responsible one was
the Pontiff Caiaphas;
(b) “Hell” does not exist;
(c) Since the term “church” was cleverly redefined as the Administrators of the catholic Faith; then
(d) What the faithful solemnly acknowledge in the Apostle's Creed is that they believe in the Administrators of the catholic Faith just as we believe in the Holy Spirit, communion of saints, forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.

Clever, wasn't it?
But wait... there is more. It seems that during the time when Jesus was crucified there were two functioning Pontiffs. Does that sound familiar? Doesn't it bring to mind the Ratzinger-Bergoglio pair? Take a look at the details.
[our underscoring]
Caiaphas was the high priest of the Jews in the reign of Tiberius Caesar, at the beginning
of the Lord's public ministry (Luke 3:2) and also at the time of His condemnation and crucifixion
(Matt 26:3,57; etc.). He was appointed to this dignity through the curator Valerius Gratus and
held it during the whole procuratorship of Pontius Pilate, but was deposed by the proconsul
Vitellus, A.D. about 38. Caiaphas was the son-in-law of Annas, with whom he is coupled by
Luke (see below). His wife was the daughter of Annas, or Ananus, who had formerly been high
priest and who still possessed great influence and control in sacerdotal matters.
The expression in Luke 3:2, “In the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas,” has led some to maintain that Annas and Caiaphas then discharged the functions of the high priesthood by turns; but this is not reconcilable with the statement of Josephus. Others think that Caiaphas is called high priest because he then actually exercised the functions of the office, and that Annas is so called because he formerly filled the position. But it does not thus appear why, of those who held the priesthood before Caiaphas, Annas in particular should be named, and not others who had served the office more recently than Annas. Meyer (Com., ad loc.) says: “Annas retained withal very weighty influence (John 18:12, sq.), so that not only did he continue to be called by the name, but, moreover, he also partially discharged the functions of high priest.” Edersheim (life and Times of Jesus, 1:264): “The conjunction of the two names of Annas and Caiaphas probably indicates that, although Annas was deprived of the pontificate, he still continued to preside over the Sanhedrin” (cf. Acts 4:6). (1)

Even if we tried we could not invent the above highlighted “Red Flags”.

Air Hockey and Ping-Pong to allegedly Evangelize

Catholic teachers who express support for civil gay marriage
-and-
Catholic teachers who express support for civil gay marriage
FROM OUR FILES: September 19, 2014
From the news
The Catholic church is on track to become a shrinking cult. (1)
Taking a break from his crusade against civil gay marriage, San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore
Cordileone is establishing an Oratory of St. Philip Neri at Star of the Sea Parish in the
city.
New pastor Fr. Joseph Illo, the former chaplain at Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, Calif., says he really wants to concentrate on young adults, offering air hockey and pingpong, among other activities. There will be Sunday and daily Mass in Latin, although it's not clear how in 2014 Mass in a language no one understands will attract young adults. Perhaps the air hockey and the pingpong will.
But the Holy Spirit works in all sorts of strange and wonderful ways, and any effort to attract young adults – to keep them from leaving the church, ...
One can point to an increasingly secular, materialistic culture as a factor in this exodus. But a closer look suggests that young Catholics are increasingly turned off by the attitudes and actions of some American bishops – the failure to address the child abuse scandal, the harsh opposition to civil gay marriage, the cluelessness of church teaching on contraception, and the refusal to consider women priests.
More recently, Catholic high school students, who can spot dishonesty and hypocrisy a mile away, are reacting with disillusion and disgust at how the church is treating some teachers in Catholic schools.
Bishop Michael Barber of Oakland, Calif., is attempting to coerce Catholic identity with a mandated morality pledge. In trying to clarify his position, Barber wrote, “I am not interested in examining a teacher's private life.” He just doesn't want any “public manifestation” of opposition to church teaching. Most thoughtful students will see that for what it is: a clumsy, inept Catholic version of “don't ask, don't tell.”
Cincinnati Archbishop Dennis Schnurr upheld the firing of an assistant principal who expressed support for civil gay marriage on his blog. The chancery spokesman stated that such actions “would undermine what students are being taught in the classroom.” It would appear that Cincinnati Catholic high school students are not being taught Jesus' message of love and inclusiveness or Pope Francis' words, “Who am I to judge?”
The Cincinnati contract prohibits teachers from “public support of the homosexual lifestyle.” That contract language forced a Catholic teacher who is the mother of a gay son to choose between her son and her job. She chose her son.

On the First Part of the News
It is no longer hard to believe that the “new and improved” technique of yet another futile attempt to “Evangelize” is based on – air hockey and Ping-Pong, among other activities. Anything but Christ!
This is typical Opus Dei fare since they have nothing else to offer, for they do not know Jesus Christ Whose teachings, explained and lived, constitute an irresistible magnet for the young.
From field experience I know for a fact!
If you wonder how come we know why this is an Opus Dei plan? “Elementary, my dear Watson!” – There will be Sunday and daily Mass in Latin.
On the Second Part of the News
Nonetheless, we fully support this insistence of the hierarchy:
“I am not interested in examining a teacher's private life.” (Bishop Michael Barber) He just
doesn't want any “public manifestation” of opposition to church teaching.
Opus Dei o no Opus Dei. What he is doing is right. Maybe not the way he is doing it (we do not have the details) but we cannot have teachers or instructors —of an institution which bears the name of Catholic and who instruct the students on the Catholic faith— whose life is a “public manifestation” of opposition to church teaching.
Jesus clearly stated that scandal must be avoided [Matthew 18:7]. Scandal, in the area of teaching faith-related matters or in an institution that carries the name, in this case, of Catholic, occurs when the teachers or instructors publicly endorse and/or live what is contrary to the fundamental tenets of the Faith in question —in this case— the Catholic Faith.
Yes, we are the first to point out that many hierarchs, priests and religious have caused scandal —and continue to do so— but, Jesus also said Do and Observe Whatsoever They Tell You, But Do Not Follow Their Example. For they preach but they do not practice.
Now, in the case of the teacher who is the mother of a homosexual son, the case may be different if she is not a proponent of homosexual lifestyle.
As a matter of fact – if she is not a proponent of homosexual lifestyle, yet loves and psychologically supports her son unconditionally – this situation could be utilized by the hierarchy to Evangelize by example, if she had been allowed to remain. But then again... how can a hierarch who does not know what evangelization really is could recognize such a golden opportunity to Evangelize?

Digital Health: Commission and WHO launch landmark digital health initiative to strengthen
global health security
Today, the European Commission and the World Health Organization (WHO) (2) have announced the launch of a landmark digital health partnership.
In June 2023, WHO will take up the European Union (EU) system of digital COVID-19 certification to establish a global system that will help facilitate global mobility and protect citizens across the world from on-going and future health threats. This is the first building block of the WHO Global Digital Health Certification Network (GDHCN) that will develop a wide range of digital products to deliver better health for all.

Since, by default, citizens can move across borders with relative freedom (limited to each country’s laws and treaties), the wording should not be “a global system that will help facilitate global mobility” or “free movement”, but “a global system that will help limit and control global mobility” (3). Let us call a spade a spade.

The first building block of the global WHO system becomes operational in June 2023 and aims to be progressively developed in the coming months.

Foundation:
This is another (important) building block for establishing a Global Police State.
It has been shown that the Covid lockdowns did not help to stop, or even mitigate, the epidemic, but their solution is still “let’s do what we can to make it even easier to impose lockdowns in the future”. Does this not reflect a very clear intention?

General commentary:
What to expect, once a new “pandemic” (or a renewed Covid) arrives “providentially” that they so fervently seem to desire?
After the world will be plunged into a situation where “we can no longer do without the digital certificates/passports”, they will “prove” or “suddenly realize” that, “despite our best efforts”, this system of certificates for “free movement” (read: controlled movement) based on “vaccination status” is vulnerable to forgery.
Then, “for the benefit of all”, “the most convenient solution” will be to carry some unforgeable electronic device inside the body (4). For their plans, it would ideally be something capable of connecting to the smartphone, so that the phone —so universal that almost everyone carries one in their hand— can connect further, to the data grid.
Automatically, one thinks of skin implants but...

NOTES
(1) European Commission, Press release, June 5, 2023 (also reported at the Delegation of the European Union to the UN)
(2) “World Health Organization (WHO)”:
the same organization that, presenting itself as opposed to disinformation,
inflated the perception of danger from the
beginning through... well, clever disinformation; and the same organization that, while aiding
the promotion of “testing, testing and more testing”, finally
admitted PCR tests create false positives – calling into question their “wisdom” if one
were to be trust them in the proposing tests that are expected to be linked to the “mobility
certificates” for “on-going and future health threats”.
(3) “To limit and control global mobility”, as predicted: Restrictions on travels - planned since 1969 or before - "Not everybody should be free to travel"
(4) Surveillance implants - planned since 1969 or before:
“So the next step would be the single card and then the next step would be to replace
the single card with a skin implant. ... The skin implant, on the other hand, would be not
losable or counterfeitable or transferrable to another person so you and your accounts would
be identified without any possibility of error.”
Also (in 1969):
“Travel... then would become very restricted. People would need permission... and
everyone would need ID. This would at first be an ID card you would carry on your person and you
must show when you are asked for it. It was already planned that later on some sort of device
would be developed to be implanted under the skin that would be coded specifically to identify the
individual. ... Silicon was mentioned. Silicon at that time was thought to be well
tolerated.”
