Regarding The Apparitions of Our Lady of La Salette in 1846 - France
Keeping in mind Mary's words:
"In the year 1864, Lucifer together with a large number of demons will be unloosed from
hell; ..."
let us see what happened in history on that specified date.

Posted on April 23, 2001 - Karl Marx and the birth of Communism
A search was made to see what event related to satan may have taken place in 1864. This is what happened:
[our highlighting]
Karl Marx's political isolation ended in 1864 with the founding of the
International Working Men's Association. Although he was neither its founder nor its
head, he soon became its leading spirit.
Its first public meeting, called by English trade union leaders and French workers' representatives, took place at St. Martin's Hall in London on Sept. 28, 1864.
Marx, who had been invited through a French intermediary to attend as a representative of the German workers, sat silently on the platform. A committee was set up to produce a program and a constitution for the new organization.
After various drafts had been submitted that were felt to be unsatisfactory, Marx, serving on a subcommittee, drew upon his immense journalistic experience. His "Address and the Provisional Rules of the International Working Men's Association," unlike his other writings, stressed the positive achievements of the cooperative movement and of parliamentary legislation; the gradual conquest of political power would enable the British proletariat to extend these achievements on a national scale. ...and communism was born. The rest is history, which is yet to reach its final Chapter.

Posted on March 25, 2005 - The doctrine of total war
We have also learned that in 1864 another diabolical event took place: The doctrine of total war was introduced
According to Microsoft's Encarta Reference Library 2003 -The doctrine of total war was introduced by the Union general William T. Sherman, who laid waste to the industrial and agricultural base that supported the armies of his Confederate opponents. Details follow.
Sherman's March to the Sea, in the American Civil War (1861-1865), the campaign of the Union Army
under General William Tecumseh Sherman to march across Georgia, from the city of Atlanta to the
Atlantic Coast. Sherman's march lasted from November 15 to December 25, 1864
Before leaving Atlanta, and after ordering civilians to evacuate, the federal forces burned the city. On the march they were ordered to destroy mills, cotton gins, and warehouses, but to respect private homes. In defiance of their orders, however, the soldiers engaged in organized plunder. In addition to seizing foodstuffs and livestock for the army, the soldiers destroyed 369 mi of railroads, burned bridges and public buildings, plundered private homes, and engaged in wanton vandalism. The march, at the rate of 12 to 15 mi a day, cut a swath 40 to 80 mi wide through the richest section of Georgia. On December 23, 1864, the army reached Savannah, which surrendered without a fight in time for Sherman to present it to President Abraham Lincoln as a "Christmas gift" .

A few months later, in March 1865, President Lincoln spoke thus in his Inaugural address:
“Neither party expected for the war the magnitude or the duration which it has already
attained.
Neither anticipated that the cause of the conflict might cease with or even before the conflict itself should cease. Each looked for an easier triumph, and a result less fundamental and astounding.
Both read the same Bible and pray to the same God, and each invokes His aid against the other. It may seem strange that any men should dare to ask a just God's assistance in wringing their bread from the sweat of other men's faces, but let us judge not, that we be not judged. The prayers of both could not be answered. That of neither has been answered fully.
The Almighty has His own purposes. "Woe unto the world because of offenses; for it must needs be that offenses come, but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh."
If we shall suppose that American slavery is one of those offenses which, in the providence of God, must needs come, but which, having continued through His appointed time, He now wills to remove, and that He gives to both North and South this terrible war as the woe due to those by whom the offense came, shall we discern therein any departure from those divine attributes which the believers in a living God always ascribe to Him?
Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away.
Yet, if God wills that it continue until all the wealth piled by the bondsman's two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said "the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether."”

All of the above brings Step No. 1 of the Sequence of Events (2) to mind. Providentially, the calendar for the year 1864 (3) is exactly as the calendar for the year 2005.

Keeping in mind that the calendar for the year 1864 (3) is [from March to December] exactly as the calendar for the year 2005 - On April 19, 2005, The Antichrist (4) became the alleged visible head of the Roman Catholic Church.

Posted on January 23, 2011 - Naturalism - The foundation of The X Club
In addition of the year 1864 being considered the birth of communism (see post of April 23, 2001 above) another event - as devastating for the Faith as communism - took place. (5)
The X Club was a dining club of nine men who supported the theories of natural selection and academic liberalism in late 19th-century England. Thomas Henry Huxley was its initiator. He called the first meeting for November 3, 1864.
After Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species was published in 1859, the men who founded the X Club began working together to aid the cause for naturalism and natural history. The members of the X Club social network played a significant part in nominating Darwin for the Copley Medal in 1864.
Naturalism is defined as a philosophy that posits a particular picture of reality, being, and existence that typically excludes the supernatural.
Therefore - satan, in 1864, covered all the bases launching the denial of God and the supernatural via Marx's political philosophy and via the Huxley-Darwin "scientific" efforts.
Just as this - and many other prophecies included in the Message of La Salette, vehemently denied by the forerunners of the False Christ - the enthronement of the Anti Christ in Rome took place on April 2005. (4)

Posted on April 18, 2003 - Holy Friday - Only a few go to Mass
A night and a morning in a certain city of Spain... A city which has been dubbed Little Rome for its religiosity... A city which has over 61 Churches and Chapels for a scant 130,000 inhabitants... A city so proud of its Holy Week Processions... brought to mind additional words from Our Lady of La Salette which, although not part of the Secret, are very much related to the events announced in it.
"Oh! my children, you must say them morning and evening. (She was referring to their
praying habits.) ...Only a few old women go to Mass; in the summer, the rest work all day
Sunday and in the winter, when they are at a loose end, they only go to mass to make fun of
religion. During Lent, they go to the butcher's like hungry dogs."
Why do we bring up this Marian statement now? How is it related to a night (of Holy Thursday) and a morning (of Holy Friday) in an allegedly religious city, a city which even boasts two Cathedrals?
Because last night, from the sounds of the "religious" celebrants which lasted until early this morning, and the conditions of the streets, the morning after, one would think that after the Mass of the Last Supper was offered, a city wide Roman Orgy was held.
Holy Friday? Well - this writer exited the city right after 3 P.M. The Holy Friday party was beginning to gather steam and there is a limited amount of insults to Heaven that we can stomach without acting in an uncharitable fashion.
Still the reader may ask: "Why is The M+G+R Foundation bringing this up now?"
Because part of our function is to make one and all aware that God has exhausted all avenues to call us to attention and now pain is the only resource left to Him (6) to bring us back.
Remember - He Will see that those who were born to go to Heaven (7) - make it there... one way... or another.
