News Report No. 1
[our underscoring and highlighting]

Patrick Lott, Bernardsville Middle School assistant principal, has been arrested for allegedly recording boys showering at Immaculata High School (0) in Somerset County, N.J. (1)

Lott was arrested last week after authorities used a Superior Court search warrant to find videos of the nude teenagers in his home.

Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey Soriano told the Journal that nine of the boys videotaped were under 16 years old. According to the report, authorities have notified a total of 22 victims.....  the videos were recorded over a span of nearly three years, beginning in 2008.

A high-ranking and respected educator at the middle school and in the community, Lott recently ran for the Somerville Borough Council on the Republican ticket, NBC New York Reports. His bid was unsuccessful.

Lott now faces charges including child endangerment. He is currently being held in the Somerset County Jail on $500,000 bail.

Contributor's comments: The party of "family values" and "conservatism" strikes again ...

miguel de Portugal comments: As we have observed humanity's behavior since my conversion nearly 27 years ago, it has become obvious that those who make the greatest effort to appear very upright - holier-than-thou, shall we say - are the ones who are trying the hardest to hide real or imagined (2) perversions. While those who are inclined to the merciful application of justice seem to be the most upright Christians.

(2) As strange as this may sound, some individuals, ensnared by satan, actually believe that they suffer some sort of deviation when it is not true at all. The president of the European Union, Herman Van Rompuy, has urged leaders to look on the bright side by sending them each a collection of essays on happiness. (1)

His Christmas gift will have all the more surprising to the world's most powerful politicians given Van Rompuy's reputation as dour and boring. Mr Cameron could be one leader most likely to appreciate a book on the meaning of happiness.

The Prime Minister shares Mr Van Rompuy's positive attitude, after championing a national 'wellbeing index' as a broader measure than simple economic growth.

The World Book of Happiness is a collection of short essays by happiness experts from 50 different nations.

EU leaders may pay particular attention to a segment entitled, 'create your own currency that no one else can buy', while another section of the book suggests that 'money can buy happiness if we spend it on other'.

According to the Sunday Times, in a letter to each recipient, Mr Van Rompuy says: 'My request to you as world leaders is to make people's happiness and wellbeing our political priority for 2012.

miguel de Portugal comments: This is how out of touch with reality these world "leaders" are. Personally, we would have sent a Biblical Rosary Kit (2) and the story of what happens when man makes light of what the Mother of the One most claim to be the Saviour of Mankind (yet completely ignore) instructs us to do. While the rest of the world engaged in merriment and good cheer, hackers used the holidays to attack a United States research group - Stratfor Global Intelligence Service - that puts out a daily newsletter on security issues.

On Saturday, hackers who say they are members of the collective known as Anonymous claimed responsibility for crashing the Web site of the group and pilfering its client list, e-mails and credit card information in an operation they say is intended to steal $1 million for donations to charity.

The hackers posted a list online that they say contains Stratfor’s confidential client list as well as credit card details, passwords and home addresses for some 4,000 Stratfor clients. The hackers also said they had details for more than 90,000 credit card accounts. Among the organizations listed as Stratfor clients: Bank of America, the Defense Department, Doctors Without Borders, Lockheed Martin, Los Alamos National Laboratory and the United Nations. (1)

miguel de Portugal comments: Just a reminder of how "safe" our personal and financial information is in the Internet Age and how powerless are the authorities to protect its citizens.... or are they?

By the way, the temporary disruption of Stratfor's operations is no loss. Anyone with a computer, internet access, awareness of the existence of Google and a flair to dramatize events, could do just as well as Stratfor does.

As former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich's star continues to rise ahead of GOP Republican primaries, he has had less time for what in recent years has become a calming, soothing Sunday tradition: sitting in the pews at the cavernous National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, praying to Jesus and the Virgin Mary during noon Mass while listening to his wife sing in the choir. (1)

While religion has long played a role in presidential elections, it has reared its head in this contest in a way it rarely has before. "I think there's now an evangelical tri-lemma," Texas pastor the Rev. Robert Jeffress, who has made headlines for calling Mitt Romney's religion a cult, said in an interview to Slate before Herman Cain suspended his campaign. "Do you vote for a Mormon who's had one wife, a Catholic who's had three wives, or an Evangelical [Cain] who may have had an entire harem?"

For Gingrich - who was born Lutheran, became Southern Baptist in college and joined the Catholic church in 2009 after almost a decade of marriage to a Catholic - religion seems as much an experience of personal salvation as it could be politically beneficial. He has spoken frequently of his reverence for Pope Benedict XVI. He credits attending one of the pope's services during his 2008 visit to the U.S. as the decisive event that moved him to join formally. .... Gingrich has said his views about the dangers of American secularism were inspired by conservative Catholic author George Weigel.

miguel de Portugal comments: The "Constantine Syndrome" all over again: Use God to consolidate political power.

News Report No. 1
[our underscoring and highlighting]

Roman Catholic Bishop Lahey was NOT a pedophile, his lawyer Edelson and his psychiatrist Bradford have emphasized.

Lahey, who has been involved in a 10-year romantic relationship after a number of one-night stands, imagines himself in a “submissive role” in his sado-masochistic sex fantasies, Bradford said. (Ottawa Citizen)

However, Bradford acknowledged he gave little consideration to the fact Lahey was carrying a bag of sex toys when he was stopped by border agents or had traveled to countries known for the child sex-trade, such as Thailand.

A Newfoundland man has filed a civil suit against Lahey for allegedly fondling him repeatedly at the Mount Cashel orphanage, but the unproven allegations contained in the lawsuit were not considered in criminal court Monday.

Bradford said Lahey explained he was indiscriminately downloading what he believed to be gay adult pornography from the Internet and must have downloaded the child pornography there. Edelson argued many of the websites have provisos saying the models depicted are over the age of 18. (Ottawa Citizen)

Lahey is merely interested in this type of improving literature and imagery:

They included 588 pornographic pictures of adolescents and boys as young as eight. Some were engaged in explicit sex acts, including intercourse. Lahey also possessed several pornographic stories, including one featuring a character named Father Raymond. (Ottawa Citizen)

Lahey likes to mix sex and religion.

The images included young boys and teens engaged in sex acts including bondage and torture. A Crown prosecutor said Tuesday some of the 588 images that were later discovered on Lahey’s laptop computer included graphic images of nude boys wearing rosary beads and crucifixes.

Police also located 63 child pornography videos and several stories with themes of slavery. (Ottawa Citizen)

Jesus Christ comments: But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh.

And if thy hand, or thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee to go into life maimed or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee. It is better for thee having one eye to enter into life, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.  See that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. [Matthew 18: 6-10]

miguel de Portugal comments: Lahey should be glad that he is not Iran or Saudi Arabia.

Three terms are enough, Mikhail Gorbachev warns Vladimir Putin. (1)

The last Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, has called on Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to heed protester demands and quit politics instead of seeking a third term as Russian president.

"I would advise Vladimir Putin to leave now. He has had three terms: two as president and one as prime minister. Three terms - that is enough," Mr Gorbachev told Moscow Echo radio in a weekend interview.

Mr Gorbachev's call came as the second mass protest in two weeks against fraud-tainted legislative polls ended in Moscow and on the eve of the 20th anniversary yesterday of his resignation as the Soviet Union's last president.

miguel de Portugal comments: Gorbachev once said that his time had not come yet (2).  Maybe his time has indeed come.

From (Mr.) WO @ US

Ratzinger's sermon (1), delivered at the Midnight Mass, 24 December, at the Vatican is fascinating on many levels. But so are horror movies.

(a) He denies that Isaiah foretold the Incarnation of (the REAL) Christ.

(b) He keeps referring to Jesus 'appearing' as a child. Jesus was not a phantom or parlor trick; in His Incarnation He was very real flesh and blood. Yet as churches throughout the English speaking world have encouraged the faithful to 'meditate on the second coming of Christ for Advent', this makes sense in the world of the Inverted.

(Interesting psychological preparation work.)

(c) "...let us also pray especially at this hour for all who have to celebrate Christmas in poverty.." , Ratzinger says. I find that quite ironic, as he says this while clothed and surrounded by wealth most could only dream of. A 'papal event' which must surely cost several million US Dollars to produce and stage manage and which almost eclipses Hollywood's version of Cleopatra's entrance in Rome.

At the end of this "mass", the procession went to the indoor crèche', where the statue of the infant Christ was laid and blessed by Ratzinger. It was snowing in the crèche'. No, I was neither imagining things nor losing my mind. The indoor crèche' had continuously falling 'snow' as a special effect.

WO

miguel de Portugal comments: Thank you for calling this to our attention; an act that moved us to read the entire text.

We must incessantly Praise God for His continued assistance by moving Ratzinger and his cohorts to openly confirm our claims about them.  Those who have Eyes to See will see through Ratzinger's pantomime, the others will simply fall for it, as most continue to do.

miguel de Portugal comments: The greatest possible care must be exercised regarding the intoxication of public opinion via internet news forums. It has been pointed out to us that on a news forum the following story was reported yesterday, December 23rd, 2011:

News Report

=============================

Friday, Dec 23 2011 6AM

Two American missiles struck a village in south-west Iran early today.  The news was given in a report by the country's Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA). IRNA had said yesterday that three people were injured when an earlier US missile struck an oil depot in Abadan. The state-run news agency also said British and American jets had entered Iranian airspace several times.

The two rockets hit Manyuhi village near the border with Iraq's Al-Faw Peninsula, an Iranian military commander told IRNA. He gave no details of casualties or damage. "In the border city of Arvand-Kenar, the invading American and British airplanes violated the airspace of the Islamic Republic of Iran three times," the commander said.

"In two cases, two rockets... hit the Manyuhi village." The governor of Abadan told IRNA that three people, including a guard at the oil depot, had been released from hospital after receiving treatment. Iran has strongly condemned the US-led military. (1)

___________
(1) US missiles 'hit Iranian village' | Mail Online

==============================

Commenters on that thread say that the same story was posted by the same paper in 2003, and again in 2009 (1) by CBS News. The UK Mail story itself shows the generic date for the UK Mail site as a whole - in today's case it was December 23rd - while one can see just before the beginning of the report the following notice: "Date created: 22/03/2003".

May this serve as yet another reminder to be on the alert for deception and manipulation via the media - mainstream or marginal. But there is more; read on....

From (Mrs.) LL @ US

I saw a post this morning on Dutchsinse website about strange sickness' happening around the world at mass gatherings. I googled to try and find out if this is really true. It does seem to be happening, but I am not sure if they are connected yet.

A map (1) showing the areas where such intoxication has taken place was one of the results of the search I conducted using Google.

LL

miguel de Portugal comments: We asked Mrs. LL, a long time cooperator of The M+G+R Foundation, to make a chronological listing of all alleged events that were mapped, as well as a line or two as to what took place, and where, so that we, wearing our "Chemical and Environmental Engineering hat", could review it.

She did as requested. The listing identified another danger of misinformation by the manipulation of main stream media reports. Professionally speaking, considering the date span, the location of the events and symptoms caused, we can say that it is normal and not the result of some plot to poison the US population.  With the amount of chemicals that we manufacture, transport around, vent and/or dump at night (so that the authorities do not catch on), and the ever increasing frequency of human errors, what we see in that list does not raise any proverbial Red Flags for us.

What is the potential danger in all of this? We shall explain.

With a tool like Google one can search for any type of extraordinary event in the US or worldwide and, Presto!, one has a list of look-alike calamities reported by the mainstream media (giving it validity) which can be converted on a "something to be really concerned about" by the ever increasing marginal, but taken as "the Gospel", internet media. Once again, Prudence should become our middle name when faced by yet another Alert! issued by mostly well intentioned folks who spend too much time on-line or are trying to sell whatever apocalypse related products they are peddling.

Russia Ramps Up New 'Satan' Nuke After U.S. Talks Breakdown: Russia is pressing ahead with a new nuclear missile which Moscow claims is a part of a renewed effort to bolster the country's missile defense systems. (1) (2)

This new intercontinental ballistic missile, nicknamed "Satan" by Western analysts, will sport a 100-ton warhead and replace the Voevoda-class missile in the Russian nuclear arsenal, according to recent news reports. ... Moscow's decision to accelerate work on the new "Satan"-class ICBM was directly tied to recently failed missile defense negotiations between Russia and the United States.

Russian president Dimitri Medvedev broke off negotiations with the White House in November on the administration's plan to set up a missile shield in Europe. The European Phased Adaptive Approach plan is a network of sea and land-based missile launchers designed to counter missile strikes from Iran. Cooperation with Russia is integral to making the missile shield work. But Moscow claims the U.S. could not guarantee American missiles would not be used to take out Russian targets. "Russia does not stand against the U.S. missile defense system. Russia stands against the creation of the missile defense system, which would be directly aimed against Russia," Karakaev said. That impasse forced Medvedev to walk away from the deal and begin work on its own super nuke.

China became the world's top patent filer in 2011, surpassing the United States and Japan as it steps up innovation to improve its intellectual property rights track record, a Thomson Reuters research report showed on Wednesday.

The report said the world's second-largest economy aimed to transform from a "made in China" to a "designed in China" market, with the government pushing for innovation in sectors such as automobiles, pharmaceuticals and technology. (1)

News Report

Several thousand women demanding the end of military rule marched through downtown Cairo on Tuesday evening in an extraordinary expression of anger over images of soldiers beating, stripping and kicking female demonstrators in Tahrir Square.

"Drag me, strip me, my brothers' blood will cover me!" they chanted. "Where is the field marshal?" they demanded of the top military officer, Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi. "The girls of Egypt are here." (1)

miguel de Portugal comments: Will someone get a French Revolution (2) history book for those intellectually challenged Egyptian military leaders? Have they forgotten that the "drop that filled the cup of discontent to an overflowing state of bloody rage" in Paris were the irate women (market fish sellers) who were pushed just a bit too far?  If they do not think and act fast, their heads may soon be decorating the lamps posts of Tahrir Square. No; this is not a threat. It is a logical forecast of events.

A Russian spacecraft stranded in Earth orbit after a botched launch in November will plunge back into the atmosphere between Jan. 6 and Jan. 19, 2012, the Russian space agency Roscosmos said.

The Phobos-Grunt spacecraft was launched Nov. 8 on an ambitious mission to retrieve a soil sample from the Martian moon Phobos. ("Grunt" is Russian for "soil.") But the probe never got farther than a couple of hundred miles from Earth after the spacecraft's engines failed to ignite to put the probe on an interplanetary path to Mars. (1)

miguel de Portugal comments: The failure of the mission is an acceptable error which is expected in scientific experimentation but, not being able to be more precise about the date it will plunge back to Earth, is unacceptable. Of course, they do not have the proverbial foggiest idea as to where it will touch down either. Amazing; simply amazing.

And to think that humanity place their blind faith on these individuals while ignoring the One Who sustains the Universe.

A newfound comet defied long odds on Thursday (Dec. 15), surviving a suicidal dive through the sun's hellishly hot atmosphere, according to NASA scientists.

Comet Lovejoy plunged through the sun's corona at about 7 p.m. EST (midnight GMT on Dec. 16), coming within 87,000 miles (140,000 kilometers) of our star's surface. Temperatures in the corona can reach 2 million degrees Fahrenheit (1.1 million degrees Celsius), so most researchers expected the icy wanderer to be completely destroyed.

But Lovejoy proved to be made of tough stuff. A video taken by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) spacecraft showed the icy object emerging from behind the sun and zipping back off into space. (1)

miguel de Portugal comments: Our "super scientists" have not caught on yet that there seems something amiss with "this picture".

Although quite ignorant about space matters, we would expect an icy comet with "a core of about 660 feet" to simply vaporize when exposed to such an environment. Icy or not icy - any solid matter when suddenly exposed to such unimaginable high temperatures would explode.... just like the comets that explode in our atmosphere from the heat generated in the reentry - a temperature which is not even close to the temperature of the sun's corona.

There is an old saying that teaches us that: There is a fool born every minute. It is beginning to look like that most go into science, while those who flunk the entrance exams at the local Junior College, become politicians.
