Correspondence Covering Our Last Attempt to Assist MMP´s Rev. A. Roux
PART 1
Made Public on August 6, 2001
Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord
BACKGROUND
Rev. S. V. contacted The M+G+R Foundation on April 17, 2000, regarding its negative evaluation of D. Gobbi´s assertion that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary would take place during the Jubilee Year.
This e-mail from Rev. S. Valenta initiated an exchange of electronic correspondence which lasted several months. This comprehensive documentation shows that it may have been our final publication on the issue what precipitated D. Gobbi´s new explanation regarding the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
We would then like to point out that, if what miguel de Portugal does and says causes D. Gobbi to change his "prophecies", maybe the faithful should pay more attention to what miguel de Portugal is saying.
...but do not take our word for it... read on... following are fourteen pages of unadulterated electronic records in the form of Electronic Correspondence between Rev. Valenta and 3 and miguel de Portugal which testifies to our claims. Of special note is a particular e-mail dated Fri, 14 Jul 2000 10:05:10 EDT and highlighted in red.

Dear MGR Foundation:
I have read your evaluation of Rev. Gobbi's "I Confirm" [ he refers to the original version of mmp2000update.html ] concering the Triumph etc.
The Italian word "para" has a number of English translations. Having checked it in the best of dictionary sources, I find that the most meaningful translation of this word, high on the list of options is: "by means of," and also "through the agency of."
This makes great sense to me with regard the entire paragraph #532. To me this is saying that the Jubilee Year of 2000 will be the base on which all the future will be placed upon; it will be the launching pad from which all of the future events come into reality.
This interpretation may be verified if all that we think will happen during this year will not happen. The succession of events is mammoth and blows the mind. God could do it, but I am wondering if this is what He will do.
My e mail address is Rev V a l e n t a @aol.com
Thanks much and God bless!

I suspect that soon you will be back from your pilgrimage.
Since I had last written to you, I have done more research on the word, "per" as it appears in #532 of "To The Priests-----."
First, the word in Italian is not "para," but "per."
I have at hand an Italian Unabridged Dictionary in which I find a multiple use of "per."
Here are some translations:
By way of------ (the great jubilee-----)
By means of-----
On account of-----
Because of-----
During-----
Through----- As a consequence of-----
Owing to-----
I suspect that "per" has as many different uses in Portuguese.
Other than being used to express time, it is also used to express causality, instrumentality etc.
I would like to have your thoughts on this. I have spoken with Rev. Valenta Roux on the matter. He was interested.
Much peace!

I am on the mission trail and will be back home in a few days. I will procure the original Italian for you of the specific paragraph in #532 that seems to invite a different English translation.
May the Lord bless you and your work.

Dear MGR Foundation:
In response to your request for the paragraph in question, that is the next to the last paragraph in #532, here it is as it appears in the official Italian vocabulary:
"Ti confermo che per il grande giubileo del duemila avverra il trionfo del mio Cuore Immacolato, che vi ho predetto a Fatima ed esso si realizzera con il ritorno di Gesu nella gloria, per instaurare il suo Regno nel mondo. Cosi potrete finalmente vedere coi vostri occhi i cieli nuovi e la nuova terra."
If you need to have a page from the Dictionary for the various uses of the word, "per" I can fax it or I can put it on your e-mail.
Fathe Roux has been informed of my communication with you. There is an exuberence in his voice. Where it now stands is this: if in the passage of time, it is evident that the Triumph had not taken place in a way that is evident to all of the members of the MMP, then we would be prepared to present the use of "per" as a prepersition of causality rather than one of time.
Do keep in touch. I will be delighted to receive any new observations from you due to your recent search pilgrimage.
Peace to you and God bless you in your so important an apostolate.

"Avverra" comes from the verb "avverare", as the dictionary gives it, "to confirm, to make come true," as in, "il tempo aver' la sua profezia, time confirmed his prophecy." "Avverra" is the third person singular future of the verb.
Their translation, "will take place" as paralleled with "will come to pass, will be realized, will come true" is perhaps not as strong as in my dictionary. It does not seem to me, however, that there should be any problem here, although between "will take place" and "will come true," the latter gives and additional strength to the Triumph in, that it will not only take place, but it will be VERIFIED as it takes place.
Do keep in touch. I am on my way to Kingston, Jamaica to give a retreat to the priests of the archdiocese. I could use additional prayer.
God bless!

Peace be with you!
We trust that you had a fruitful retreat at Kingston - we did not forget your request for prayers.
We continue in our attempts to re-settle after a long and arduous Pilgrimage through Spain and Portugal, which was, we may add, most fruitful [but not necessarily pleasant since there is hardly anything pleasant in the seeing of the collapse of the world].
We have just watched the video/read the text of an "Interview with Father Steano Gobbi" ar Rubbio, Italy - August 4-5, 1999 In English.
The same problem shows up regarding the "by the Jubilee" statement - which is repeated again - and other matters which are causing us profound concern.
Although Gobbi crossed our path in a very wrong way - in all humility, something not recommended, even for him - we truly believe in justice and what is right to shine and be seen. Thus, we are concerned that the world has been fed a number of bad translations which has placed the fruits Movement in a position easy to "shoot down".
We could easily make a mockery of Gobbi from some of the things we heard/read in English in the referenced interview, and other translated statements, except, we know that they are poor translation/interpretations of what the poor man is trying to get across.
What to do? We have our own "program" which, at the end, you will understand that by necessity consumes all of our attention, yet, precisely because of the realities of which we are aware of, we cannot cross our arms over our chest and look the other way.
We will immediately update our Site dealing with the Jubilee and try to get the point (the correction of the error) out as far and as wide as possible but... there is much more that needs to be done.
Let us pray over all of this and see what our Mother wants all of us to do about it. Obviously Roux needs to get involved in this up to his neck. For openers we think that he must get a letter out to the entire US-MMP mailing list correcting this problem.
We simply cannot utilize tourist guide grade translators/interpreters when the words which are being translated affect the lives of billions of people!
May God continue to Bless you and the Immaculate Heart of our Heavenly Mother serve as our sure refuge.

Poor Don Gobbi seems to be "free" and "clear". We are fully aware that he does not understand English, Portuguese nor Spanish. He has to rely on others and we think that these locutions are important enough to have a "battery of professional translators" at least checking out the work of the tourist-guide grade translations.

We heartly agree that it falls directly under his bailiwick and presume that, since you have been in contact with him on this matter, you will bring it up to his attention.
However, we do not let grass grow under our feet and we will directly address all the English, Portuguese and Spanish Speaking Centers worldwide with this corrected information.

Of course not and that was/is our concern because the unseen "machinery" is geared to disprove the validity of the key Marian Messages - with Fatima, Garabandal and MMP leading the list. That is part of "the plan". Visit brainwash1.html for a taste of it.

Interesting that you say this. We publicly diassociated with and disclaimed any agreement and/or support [which we had generously given it before] with the MMP beyond December 31, 1993. From that date on we started reading (not always but frequently enough) incorrect "messages". [Through the Grace of God, we are in a position to recognize a correct from an incorrect message]
If God warps the time for us again, we will go back to the post Dec 31st 1993 messages which we found in error and, with your fine assistance, start digging.
If we could quickly place our hands on the document we issued to that effect we would share it with you... but only God knows where it is and He is not talking...

This is why our Domain is so short in Spanish and Portuguese documents although it has many, many visitors from Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries. If we do not do them in-house (generally), the spirit is lost and we have to do such an overhaul that we might as well do it ourselves.

Dear MGR:
I just received a call from Rev. Valenta Roux who has taken up the "per" situation with Rev. Valenta Gobi personally. He had just returned and game me tremendous information.
Rev. Valenta Gobi insists that it is to be translated "during." There were other revelations which he gave be to substantiate that translation. When I spoke to him of all that had to be accomplished through the prophecies before the coming of Jesus, he brushed all that aside and mentioned that the Holy Father will meet a violent death sometime after the illumination of conscience and that will bring in the anti pope and the anti christ. It will be Pope John Paul II who will identify the anti christ to the public world. The prophecy, "I will strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered," was quoted. The second quarter of this year is the end of mercy; justice will begin with the third quarter. The world will greet Jesus at Christmas as did the shepherds at His birth. There is more, but, this is as much as I can send you now.
I don't know what you can do with this at this point. I would strongly suggest that you call Rev. Valenta Roux directly. He is an official of MMP. and will speak as such to you. His phone number is: [edited out].
Do keep in touch.
God's Blessing!

Peace be with you!
An earful indeed, but not surprising. We concurr with the sequence of the events as published as far back as 1992 (but we veiled for publication in the Domain). However, the time frame after the death of John Paul is what we question.
Gobbi can brush aside all he wants, but he cannot brush aside Biblical Prophecies, which Jesus clearly underscored in the way to Emaus, must be fulfilled one way or another.
We will appreciate receiving your additional comments of your conversation with Rev. Valenta Roux to see how the rest dovetails with what was has been reavealed to us in the past years and continues until today. We will feedback to you how well it dovetails and where it may be found in the already published documents.
In the meantime, since we cannot place words in D. Gobbi's mouth, we will withdraw the "per" clarification and replace the original document. We will not make any mention on said replacement of Gobbi's brushing aside prophecies. We simply will replace the existing document with the prior one.
>From the related timetable - we are in the third quarter and out of the period of Mercy and into that of Justice, which is, again, not surprising. It is the length of the period of Justice that we are talking about.
In our next interchange of communication we will share with you why maybe, just maybe, the period of Justice has been shrunk and what happened with the prophecies for the year 1998.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Blessings and Graces!

Pax Vobis!
On June 7, 2000 we issued a statement about the possibility of an error in the translation of D. Gobbi's words regarding the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. That is, we gave the translation the benefit of the doubt.
The original translation read that such Triumph would take place in the Jubilee of the year 2000. Something hard for us to believe.
Another translation read that such triumph would take place as a result of the Jubilee related events, and not necessarily in the year 2000 itself. This was coherent with all else that we are aware of, first hand and otherwise.
We have received word from D. Gobbi through Rev. Valenta A. Roux of the MMP, USA, that he meant precisely THAT THE TRIUMPH WOULD TAKE PLACE IN THE YEAR 2000.
This resuscitates in us the very serious concerns that we voiced through our update on April 4, 2000.
We strongly recommend that you review the document which we originally published and take careful note of the key commentaries made.

We were not asking you to call Rev. Valenta Roux; we thought that he had discussed with you other matters associated with the "per" issue and you did not have time at that particulat moment to relate to us via e-mail.

May the Peace of God and the Consolation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary be with you, Revs. Roux and Valenta and Mr. Delgado!
We have carefully reviewed the transcript of the Interview with Father Stefano Gobbi conducted in Rubbio, Italy, August 4-5, 1999. We specifically refer to the transcript which accompanies the video tape of the interview.
We find nothing in said interview which will prompt us to change a word in our recent Open Letter to Rev. Valenta Roux or other MMP related documents which have been published in our Domain. As a matter of fact, anyone intent on defaming D. Gobbi and the Marian Movement of Priests would find additional verbal ammunition in the text of said interview.
It is not within our providence to promote the alleged locutions to D. Gobbi. It is within our providence, however, to point out to the faithful any lack of coherence and general inconsistencies that we may find in any alleged messages from Heaven - through D. Gobbi or anyone else.
We have fulfilled that responsibility in the most charitable way possible since we have not taken advantage of the frequent incoherence, internal and external, contained in some of the alleged locutions, as well as in D. Gobbi's statements during interviews.
At this point, Gamaliel's counsel [Acts 5:34-39] is the wisest option to follow for Marian Movement of Priests as well as for The M+G+R Foundation.
At His service, thus at yours, we remain simply....

Dear Mr. Saveria:
I am sorry to hear about your lack of understanding but again only Our Lord and Mother can fully and completely infuse your heart.
Your disunity and lack of humility only further underscores the danger associated with those firmly wrapped-up in blind religiosity.
The Rev. Valenta Gobbi interview that has been sent out around the world and the renewed interest received by MMP because of the tape only reaffirms the positive and reaffirming nature of this modern media endeavor.
It is disheartning that instead of promoting the Rev. Valenta Gobbi interview and putting it on your web site you are disparaging it. Christ says you will know His work by the fruits.
I ask what are your fruits? I stand by mine.

Oscar I. Delgado

Peace be with you, Mrs. C.!
We Praise God for your consoling words.
Yes, the situation is both difficult and complicated. Even more so since miguel de Portugal has intimately known the MMP since the mid eighties and maintained in the past fraternal corresponence (both directions) with the MMP Directors of all Spanish and English speaking countries - about 40 countries in all.
There is far, far more than meets the eye - For example, what the faithful do not know is that, even though M de P was a strong endorser of the MMP prior to 1993, D. Gobbi was determined to track M de P down.
Obviously not to thank him... ...since the MMP Director of certain country resigned from his position so that he would not have to answer to Gobbi's demands and identify M de P. He had met him face to face before without knowing at the time that it was M de P.
The Foundation files are brimming with loving and supporting correspondence from many other MMP Directors. When a priest is willing to sacrifice a prestigious position in a country of high standing within the Church to protect M de P's identity since D. Gobbi was mounting a persecution campaign against him, what does that tell you?
Why? Of course we know the answer.
If the Foundation intent was malicious toward the MMP for the sake of malice, just publishing the dozens upon dozens of past letters and communications in our Domain would be more than the MMP could deal with. However, that is not the way God works and it is Him Whom we serve in spite of our frailties and limitations.
Our Power lies in the truth we speak and in our complete submission to the Will of God.
You will find a few newly posted documents regarding the MMP at board.html
May God continue to Bless you and your loved ones.
