We feel that it is imperative that we clearly and unequivocally pronounce ourselves regarding the impending war, which certain elements within the government of the United States of America have maneuvered its government to declare (1), on the Republic of Iraq.
This war is theologically, morally, politically and sociologically wrong, and, as such, miguel de Portugal, through The M+G+R Foundation, denounces it.

However, God will allow, not cause it nor condone it, just allow this war as He, by hardening Pharaoh's heart, allowed the demise of Pharaoh's military supremacy in the days of Moses. God had a very clear and Paternal purpose in mind - He wanted His People freed from the Pharaoh's bondage as well as the demise of his military supremacy.

If He had not hardened Pharaoh's heart, the People of God would have left in peace and Pharaoh's military power would have remained intact. God knew, however, that Pharaoh would have used this power in the future to forcibly impose his will on others. The knowledge of this future scenario did not leave God any other choice but to allow, not cause, but allow the demise of Pharaoh's unchallenged military supremacy.

Once again, God is presented with a similar scenario (2) and, as in the past, He has acted in the same manner by hardening the hearts of the neo-Pharaohs of the George W. Bush Administration. The Cheney-Rumsfeld-Ashcroft war against Iraq will trigger the First Step of the Sequence of Events Leading to the End of These Times and, with it, the fulfillment of all that it entails. (3)

By acting thus, God - in response to the prayers and acts of reparation by His Elect, and after delaying it by as many as ten years - will:


May Almighty God be Praised for He is Just and Merciful!
