Subject :The latest MMP interpretation of the Triumph of the Immaculate Hear of Mary
Reference : Your postings of September 11 and September 18, 2000 [by electronic Date Stamp]
May the Mercy of God be upon you, Reverend Roux!
Your new postings at the MMP-USA Site (1) have been brought to our attention. If we were of the world we would be flattered since it appears that our worldwide exposure of the many inconsistencies and incoherence of the forecasts coming from the MMP moved you to action.
Fortunately, we are not of the world and your action of reinterpreting the alleged words of Our Heavenly Mother one more time, instead of filling us with arrogant pride, profoundly saddens us.
How could you and your masters possibly do this to the poor faithful who are placing their trust in the guidance allegedly provided by the Marian Movement of Priests?
With fast double talk and the frequent reinterpretation of the alleged messages, to suit the momentary need, you try, not only to promote that D. Gobbi now represents the Immaculate One (2), but to counter the advise of Spiritual Directors (3) and manipulate the faithful into reading the alleged messages from D. Gobbi's by waving the penalty flags of losing special favors (4) from our Heavenly Mother as well as not having the privilege of being registered as an Official Cenacle at Headquarters (5).
What, in the Name of God, is this Rev. Roux? Does the Marian Movement of Priests now also controls the entries in the Book of Life [Revelations 13:8]?
It seems to us that the time has come when the appropriate Vatican Congregation and/or Local Ordinaries should take a very close look at the activities of the Marian Movement of Priests and the effect it is having on the spiritual well being of the flock.
But let us continue with additional examples
In your e-mail to Larry (6) of February 19, 1998, you state:
Our Lady predicted in 1988 that within the next ten years all that she had predicted during the
past 200 years would come to pass. She also said that 1998 would be the peak of these events of
purification for humanity and the world and that by the year 2000 Jesus will have
returned in glory to establish the fullness of his kingdom here on earth.
In the transcript of D. Gobbi's alleged locution of December 5, 1994, given at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, we read:
I confirm to you that, by the great jubilee of the year two thousand, there will take place the
triumph of my Immaculate Heart, of which I foretold you at Fatima, and this will come to pass with
the return of Jesus in glory, to establish his Reign in the world. Thus you will at last be able
to see with your own eyes the new heaven and the new earth.
In the much touted taped interview with D. Gobbi in Rubbio, Italy, August 4-5, 1999 he states:
When the time will come - and for me it is the Great Jubilee of the Year 2000 - she will lift
her mantle, and a cohort formed in every part of the world will be seen: her Marian Movement of
Priests formed by the bishops, the priests and the faithful. At that moment she will say: "This is
the triumph of my Immaculate Heart in the world."
In the MMP's very latest [September 13, 2000 - by electronic Date Stamp] version of the messages, as published in the MMP-USA Domain, (7) you write:
The triumph is not to be confounded with the transformation of the heavens and the earth, nor
should it be confused with the return of Jesus. Her triumph is the fulfillment of her mission, the
acknowledgment by the Church of all her titles, her privileges, and her rightful place in the
mystery of Redemption, and, finally in the crushing of the ancient serpent's head with her heel
(the army of her little ones prepared by her). At that moment, Our Lady's mission is successfully
completed and her triumph finally achieved, thus preparing the way for the return of Jesus to
establish his kingdom on earth. May it be soon!
When is it going to be, Rev. Roux? At the lifting of the mantle? At the return of Jesus Christ in Glory? When She is accorded Her rightful Title of Co-Redemptrix? During [Per!] the year 2000 - one way or another?
You stated (6) that the peak of the purification was supposed to be in 1998, remember? Therefore we ask you now: Are we just coasting now until Our Lord Jesus Christ Returns? Or is it going to be as you now write regarding The Third (part of the) Secret of Fatima (8):
I believe that now the time has come for the content of the third secret to become a reality.
There is hardship and persecution ahead, and some of us will be called to the ultimate sacrifice
of our lives?
But Rev. Roux, when Cardinal Ratzinger explained the secret, (9) didn't he say that "...the events to which the third part of the 'secret' of Fátima refers now seem part of the past"? But you, in the same breath with which you are praising Cardinal Ratzinger's document on the Secret, describe a future apocalyptic scenario.
Or is it that the timing and the definition of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, according to the MMP, really depends on when miguel de Portugal exposes the gross inconsistencies he finds between the Holy Scriptures and valid Marian manifestations, and the alleged locutions to D. Gobbi?
Rev. Roux, we could go on but charity prevents us from doing so.
In closing we wish to share with you a portion of a CWN's report on the words of His Holiness John Paul II as he brought the International Marian Congress to its conclusion on September 24, 2000:
Marian devotion, the Holy Father said, is "founded on Scripture and Tradition." Such authentic
devotion, he continued, can be found both in the formal liturgy of the Church and in practices of
popular piety. And he stressed that true devotion excludes "any form of superstition and
credulity" regarding "extraordinary manifestations," but relies on the seasoned judgment of the
Church.
We have heard of the many Masses concelebrations which MMP leaders allegedly participate in The Vatican. Nonetheless, we should carefully meditate on the part of the message which stresses that: true devotion excludes "any form of superstition and credulity" regarding "extraordinary manifestations,"...
His Holiness did not say anything about the need to read D. Gobbi's alleged locutions nor being registered at the MMP Headquarters as a requirement to live an authentic devotion to our Heavenly Mother.
We wish that we could consider this case closed. Unfortunately we know well that it has to be played out until the End. We shall continue posting from our extensive MMP files for the benefit of the faithful, as the need arises.

the alleged locutions through the MMP read
the
original correspondence which appears to have caused the Marian Movement of Priests to
change their prophecies and reinterpret the alleged locutions.
