Open Letter to Rev. Roux of July 20th, 2000
And the Accusations Leveled Against miguel de Portugal
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of sharing this internal information is to shed some light on the claims by the Marian Movement of Priests regarding as to when the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will take place.
We are presenting the details of the events as they happened. Whether the reader believes what we reveal or not is not of our concern. That is strictly between the reader and God.
THE PHONE CALL
On July 24, 2000, miguel de Portugal (m de P) receives a telephone call on a restricted telephone line.
The caller identifies himself as Oscar Delgado, a benefactor of the MMP and producer of a video entitled "Interview with Father Stefano Gobbi" (Rubbio, Italy, August 4-5, 1999) (1)
When m de P inquires as to Mr. Delgado's access to this private phone line he hesitates but finally ascribed Rev. Stephen Valenta, OFM, Conv. as its source. Mr. Delgado was not aware that this number is known to less than twenty handpicked individuals worldwide and Rev. Stephen Valenta is not one of them. However, this was the number which was left for Rev. Roux to contact m de P. Therefore, it is a logical assumption that Mr. Delgado was calling on behalf of Rev. Roux.
Mr. Delgado proceeds to promote the video he produced [1] assuring m de P that said video, in which D. Gobbi clearly attested to timing of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Return of Our Lord Jesus Christ, fulfilled our requests to Rev. Roux.
He wanted The M+G+R Foundation to promote the video as a mean of announcing to the world the upcoming events.
m de P, not being aware at that moment that such video was in our filed, agreed to receive it from Mr. Delgado and review it. If it clarified matters and responded to our concerns, The M+G+R Foundation would issue a mailing promoting such video.
Mr. Delgado assured m de P of the existence of an ample supply of said video - ready for sale, of course!
End of what appeared to have been a harmonious and fraternal conversation.
THE VIDEO
Shortly thereafter, m de P was made aware that said video was in our files. He returned Mr. Delgado's call (number courtesy of Caller ID since Mr. Delgado had not left any identifiers when he called) and informed him that we had the video on hand and promised to review it within the ensuing 24 hours.
m de P did as promised. On the following day he issued the following e-mail to Mr. Delgado and Rev. Roux.

May the Peace of God and the Consolation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary be with you, Frs. Roux and Valenta and Mr. Delgado!
We have carefully reviewed the transcript of the Interview with Father Stefano Gobbi conducted in Rubbio, Italy, August 4-5, 1999. We specifically refer to the transcript which accompanies the video tape of the interview.
We find nothing in said interview which will prompt us to change a word in our recent Open Letter to Rev. Roux or other MMP related documents which have been published in our Domain. As a matter of fact, anyone intent on defaming D. Gobbi and the Marian Movement of Priests would find additional verbal ammunition in the text of said interview.
It is not within our providence to promote the alleged locutions to D. Gobbi. It is within our providence, however, to point out to the faithful any lack of coherence and general inconsistencies that we may find in any alleged messages from Heaven - through D. Gobbi or anyone else.
We have fulfilled that responsibility in the most charitable way possible since we have not taken advantage of the frequent incoherence, internal and external, contained in some of the alleged locutions, as well as in D. Gobbi's statements during interviews.
We reassure you, Mr. Delgado, that the Marian Movement of Priests is neither new to us nor we know it on a superficial manner. Therefore, we are speaking with both intellectual as well as infused certainty.
At this point, Gamaliel's counsel [Acts 5:34-39] is the wisest option to follow for Marian Movement of Priests as well as for The M+G+R Foundation.
We consider this issue closed. Our time and your time is valuable and we feel that all of us have done all that is possible regarding the resolution of this matter.
At His service, thus at yours, we remain simply....

We will try to keep our readership informed as the definition of the Triumph of The Immaculate
Heart of Mary and the Second Coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ changes to fit the particular need of
the Marian Movement of Priests at the moment.

MR. DELGADO RESPONDS

Dear Mr. Saveria: [We presume that Mr. Delgado was addressing m de P]
I am sorry to hear about your lack of understanding but again only Our Lord and Mother can fully and completely infuse your heart.
Your disunity and lack of humility only further underscores the danger associated with those firmly wrapped-up in blind religiosity.
The Don Gobbi interview that has been sent out around the world and the renewed interest received by MMP because of the tape only reaffirms the positive and reaffirming nature of this modern media endeavor.
It is disheartening that instead of promoting the Don Gobbi interview and putting it on your web site you are disparaging it. Christ says you will know His work by the fruits.
I ask what are your fruits? I stand by mine.
Ven Senor Jesus,
Oscar I. Delgado

Their new version posted in the MMP-USA Site [http://www.mmp-usa.net/triumph.htm?] as of September 13, 2000 read as follows:
The triumph is not to be confounded with the transformation of the heavens and the earth, nor
should it be confused with the return of Jesus. Her triumph is the fulfillment of her mission, the
acknowledgment by the Church of all her titles, her privileges, and her rightful place in the
mystery of Redemption, and finally in the crushing of the ancient serpent's head with her heel
(the army of her little ones prepared by her). At that moment, Our Lady's mission is successfully
completed and her triumph finally achieved, thus preparing the way for the return of Jesus to
establish his kingdom on earth. May it be soon!

Obviously God did not consider this matter closed. Other documents had to be published regarding the continuous deviations of the Marian Movement of Priests, a behavior which finally led us to publish Beyond this Document.... There Is Nothing Else We Can Do to Alert the Faithful Further
