PURPOSE
The purpose of this News Commentary Section is to assist the faithful in recognizing the signs and lies of These End Times. Somehow, many self appointed Shepherds of These Times are trying to convince the faithful that the Apocalypse will be, using street slang, "a piece of cake" for them and "hell" for all others. They are led to believe that if they "do this" and "do that" they do not have a thing to worry about (of course, so long as that between the "do this" and the "do that" they send in a donation).
Others lead the faithful to believe that "All Is Well" and will continue to be, of course, as long as those donations keep coming in...
Wrong! For either case scenario to be true, the Old and New Testament has to be invalid. Logically, if the Holy Scriptures are invalid there is no use for "Shepherds", is there? So what is their function besides collecting money?
Spending it, of course!
Now, let us focus on the real world and the news about its crumbling structures, philosophies and half-baked theories. With the assistance of the Holy Spirit of God, Who cannot be falsified, the disoriented faithful will be able to understand what is truly taking place and why.

NEWS - Pope Loses Battle With Peace Symbol Dove
AP - Published: January 30, 2005
Selected quotes:
VATICAN CITY - Pope John Paul II shooed a dove — a symbol of peace — out his apartment window
Sunday, chuckling with children who watched in delight as the bird flew back into his room
overlooking St. Peter's Square.
The pontiff was addressing thousands of young people from an Italian Catholic organization who marked January as a month to promote peace.
Each of the children at his side sent a dove flying, but the white birds, perhaps alarmed by Rome's unusual cold spell, almost immediately darted back into his studio.
Laughing, the 84-year-old ailing pontiff seemed determined to set the symbol free. He grabbed one of the doves as an aide returned the birds to
the window sill, and he shooed it out the window...
After a quick flight over the square, the bird quickly fluttered inside again as the pope grinned.

God continues to give messages to His children, messages which, as usual, are missed by most.
If an individual who have never heard of Christianity is told that a Dove is the symbol of The Holy Spirit of God and of Peace and that the Roman Pontiff is the Spiritual Leader of Christendom, before showing him/her this sequence, what would he/she conclude?
"That in spite of the Divine efforts for the Holy Spirit of God and, thus, Peace, to remain in the Spiritual See of Christendom, it is repeatedly rejected until, finally it abandons the Spiritual See of Christendom."
Should we wonder why the statues of Mary shed tears in Rome (see below Posting of January 24th) and in Japan?

The US is militarily stretch to the limit - only recurring to nuclear weapons can it meet a major
crisis against its security. (Remember: Armed forces with no basic armor in the vehicles in
Iraq)
The US is financially stretched to the limit - one "economic burp" and we have 1929 again - with nothing but debt to back it up.
The greatest nation that ever existed has been placed exactly where the true enemy wanted it and by an Administration who invokes God's Name in every other sentence.
All seems to be terribly on schedule!
May God have Mercy on the good and generous people of the United States for they will have to foot the bill for this.

NEWS - Madonna Statue Tears 'beyond human explanation'
AP - Published: January 23, 2005 - Day of Mary's Wedding
Selected quotes:
A study into the case of a statue of the Madonna reported to have shed tears of blood a decade ago
near Rome concluded the event has no human explanation. The Italian daily Corriere della Sera said
it viewed the document ordered by the Civitavecchia diocese to review the case from several points
of view and was put together by theologians, historians and doctors. It published what it said was
a summary of its findings.
"Everything - they (the experts) say unanimously - indicates that in that corner of the earth at the gates of Rome an event took place that has no human explanation and points at the mystery of the Supernatural," Corriere wrote.
The Corriere article was written by Vittorio Messori, a leading Catholic author who helped Pope John Paul II write the best-selling book Crossing the Threshold of Hope in 1994.
The case of the Madonna of Civitavecchia, a small port city about 65 kilometres north of Rome, made headlines in Italy and abroad 10 years ago, drawing thousands of faithful to the town.

Luke 19:41-44
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known,
even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid
from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about
thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
Does anyone out there need Daniel to explain what we are conveying, once again, to the world?
Just in case "Daniel may not be around", miguel will do it for you:
+ Then: Jesus' visitation was not acknowledged with the appropriate response; Now: Mary's repeated visitations have not been acknowledged with the appropriate response
+ Then: Jesus in the outskirts of Jerusalem; Now: Mary in the outskirts of The Vatican
+ Then: In Jerusalem not one stone was to be left upon another; Now: In The Vatican not one stone is to virtually be left upon another.
We view this as the last warning from our Heavenly Mother. It took ten years to confirm that the
event was true because the timing was perfect.

NEWS - Way Too Much God - Was the president's speech a case of "mission inebriation"?
WSJ - Opinion Journal - Peggy Noonan - Author of a Ronald Reagan glowing Biography
Published: January 21, 2005
Selected quotes:
"The administration's approach to history is at odds with what has been described by a
communications adviser to the president as the "reality-based community." A dumb phrase, but not a
dumb thought: He meant that the administration sees history as dynamic and changeable, not static
and impervious to redirection or improvement. That is the Bush administration way, and it happens
to be realistic: History is dynamic and changeable. On the other hand, some things are constant,
such as human imperfection, injustice, misery and bad government.
This world is not heaven.
The president's speech seemed rather heavenish. It was a God-drenched speech. This president, who has been accused of giving too much attention to religious imagery and religious thought, has not let the criticism enter him. God was invoked relentlessly. "The Author of Liberty." "God moves and chooses as He wills. We have confidence because freedom is the permanent hope of mankind . . . the longing of the soul.""
"It seemed a document produced by a White House on a mission. The United States, the speech said, has put the world on notice: Good governments that are just to their people are our friends, and those that are not are, essentially, not. We know the way: democracy. The president told every nondemocratic government in the world to shape up. "Success in our relations [with other governments] will require the decent treatment of their own people.""
And yet such promising moments were followed by this, the ending of the speech. "Renewed in our strength--tested, but not weary--we are ready for the greatest achievements in the history of freedom."
This is--how else to put it?--over the top. It is the kind of sentence that makes you wonder if this White House did not, in the preparation period, have a case of what I have called in the past "mission inebriation." A sense that there are few legitimate boundaries to the desires born in the goodness of their good hearts.
One wonders if they shouldn't ease up, calm down, breathe deep, get more securely grounded. The most moving speeches summon us to the cause of what is actually possible. Perfection in the life of man on earth is not."

Yes, as we stated, it was Black Thursday indeed as we have stated in the January 20th posting.
Ms. Peggy Noonan is a Republican Party militant in the right of the Party spectrum. She is a regular columnist for the Wall Street Journal's Opinion Journal, the author of a glowing Biography on President Ronald Reagan, may his soul rest in peace, and writer of some Republican Presidential speeches.
This is the woman who, commenting on President Bush's inaugural speech, states, among other things:
"This is--how else to put it?--over the top. It is the kind of sentence that makes you wonder
if this White House did not, in the preparation period, have a case of what I have called in the

Is there any other way that God needs to notify the world that "This Party Is Over" and that we have just witnessed the Inauguration of the Apocalypse and that best investments now are a good rosary and a survival kit?

NEWS - Bush speech to stress freedom
Associated Press - DEB RIECHMANN and DAVID ESPO
Published: January 20, 2005
Selected quotes:
"The survival of liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other
lands," Bush was telling inauguration watchers in this country and across the globe. "The best
hope for peace in our world is the expansion of freedom in all the world."
Bush summed up his inaugural message with one word: "Freedom." "This is a cause that unites our country and gives hope to the world," he said Wednesday evening... Then, reaching to his religious faith, Bush continued: "We have a calling from beyond the stars to stand for freedom, and America will always be faithful to that cause."

Yes, it is Black Thursday, however, it had to be. In reality, no one individual can be blamed for its arrival; we, citizens of this world - the new Tower of Babel - must equally share in the blame since we have, collectively, abandoned God in favor for our many idols.
As we have pointed out before freedom, as love, cannot be imposed by force. This poor man is so disoriented that made him a perfect "deliverer" for those who are really moving the strings. It requires an individual with subnormal IQ to be able to speak as he does without realizing the foolishness and incoherence being uttered. This is what is so sad - he does believe what he is saying. He has been made to believe it.
The other problems are: There are two other World Saviors, without counting Mr. and Mrs. Moon. They all believe that they have "a calling from beyond the stars" to "save the world".
We are at total peace because we have published what God willed miguel de Portugal to write and pronounce. This letter is just one example of it. As for the rest, all will take place just as he has been announcing to the world for 12 years through the Sequence of Events...
We just need to focus on strengthening the little Faith left - a titanic task since The Vatican seem to have, and right on schedule, increased their effort to destroy the remainder Faith left - and to guide the true remnant, as God Wills it, through the labyrinth of sorrows that awaits ALL of humanity... not just the tsunami victims, or the victims of the atrocities in Africa, the wars, the next earthquake, etc., etc. When we say ALL, we mean ALL. The denial of this will only harm those who wish to do so; harm which will be added to the inescapable sorrow that they will share with the rest of the world population.

NEWS - God Is "Falling From Grace" in Australia
The Weekend Australian by James Murray - Published: December 23, 2004
Selected quotes:
Religious affiliation is falling along with church attendance. Old allegiances have faltered, with
2.85 million Australians rejecting religious belief between 1996 and 2001. In 1971, 7 per cent
of Australians rejected any religion at all, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
By 2001 this had more than doubled to 16 per cent.
In 1933, about 90 per cent of Australians declared they were religious, falling to 80 per cent in 1980, and again to 73 per cent in 2001. Of the three quarters of Australians who claim a religious affiliation, the number who go to a church, temple, mosque or synagogue regularly fails to reflect this. Christian observance has declined the most, down from 20 per cent to 7 per cent between 1996 and 2001.
Reasons for the decline have been attributed to everything from the growing reliability on new technology to terrorism. Deep divisions within the establishment churches on sharing power and sex roles have also caused casualties, as have the scandals of pedophilia and child abuse. Despite the battle to make Christmas more religious and less commercial, evidence for a Christian revival is meager, and confronting this problem is proving to be the 21st-century battle for Australian Christians.

As we have highlighted in two articles: The Demise of the Faith - How It Has Manifested Itself - Its Consequences - Religious and Political and The Demise of the Faith - Its Greatest Contributor , there is very little true Faith left, since even amongst those who report religious practice, their faith, unfortunately, is only very superficial.
The question then is: "What can we do?" outside of wringing our hands and aimlessly pacing the floor as most, without any coherent and credible direction, do now.
That is precisely what we have tried, at His command, to address in our newest document: What can we do now?

NEWS - Asian Disaster Toll Could Top 100,000 -- Red Cross Estimates
Published: December 29th, 2004
BANDA ACEH, Indonesia (Reuters) -
"I would not be at all surprised that we will be on 100,000 (deaths) when we know what has happened on the Andaman and Nicobar islands," Peter Rees of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies said.
David Nabarro, who heads the World Health Organization health crisis team, said up to five million people lacked the basic essentials to survive.
The colossal surge was triggered by a undersea earthquake of magnitude 9.0, the biggest in 40 years, off the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It spread an arc of death from Indonesia to Sri Lanka and beyond to Africa.
U.S. scientists said the quake that set off the wall of water had moved tectonic plates beneath the Indian Ocean by up to 100 feet, causing the Earth to wobble on its axis and permanently shortening the day by a fraction of a second.
UNICEF executive director Carol Bellamy said children could account for up to a third of the dead.
In Thailand, where thousands of tourists had been enjoying a peak-season Christmas break away from the northern winter, many west-coast resorts were turned into graveyards.
The official toll in Thailand is 1,600, but 3,500 foreigners were unaccounted for, including more than 2,000 Scandinavians.
More than 1,800 bodies have been recovered from Khao Lak beach, north of Phuket island, and more than 3,000 people may have died there alone, police said. More than 300 dead had been found on Phi Phi island, made famous in the film "The Beach."
The M+G+R Foundation Comments
God Wills that I remind one and all that the area most affected by this devastating earthquake took place in the focal point of Sex Tourism in which the young ones are prostituted for the deviant pleasure of the "tourists".
What the world is now witnessing is another chapter of Divine Mercy in Action
We repeat: The power to diminish the need for God to exercise His last ditch effort to bring souls back to Him and Eternal Life still is in our hands but Denial is rampant and only more pain will make the deaf finally pay attention; although it will be too late for many.
